Hardly to find a place to sleep in Pua in New Year's Eve, we finally ended up in this resort (Luckily, there was one room available here, otherwise we might sleep in the street ; Thank God) and they didn't disappoint us.

The resort is on the hill covered by many trees (Greenhill, as its name would suggest). Our room was clean. All facilities were in good condition. Moreover, the room also provided us a wonderful view of greenish thicket in the morning. A buffet breakfast was awesome. Various styles of food including local (Khao Soi ; Northern Thai egg noodles in curry soup with chicken), Thai (stir fried rice, etc.), and western (fried egg, salad, sausage, bread). Recommend !

Resort engulfed by many big trees.

The room is not clean, there are ants on the counter and we even found a crawling insect in the bed. The bathroom is very dirty and the box of shower gel was empty. There was only shampoo left, we had to be satisfied. The breakfast is very poor. No tea, no juice, no fruits, no bread, only rice and eggs! I will come back to Pua but not to this hotel.

Disappointed

Having too few staff to provide a service. I had to wait for too long for initial service. Poor room and poor cleanliness and poor room quality and bad experience in this hotel room. Price for room was changed without informing. Not happy not satisfied not planning on coming back.

Poor service

Very accessible to market and for whom target is to Bauklua the schedule song taew to Doi Puka is only 10 mins walks. The room is very large clean strong wifi and big balcony witrh garden view. It was saver while I had good green view for people who did not drive like me. (No rice field is fine) Free breakfast included has some variety of selection.  The owner is very kind lady. She brought me to get to know some part about Pua town with hospitality from Naan. So I gave 10 scores for information and sight seeing to guests.

Worth with value

We saw this place on the internet and my friend in Pua booked a room for 6 nights. The fridge was not working, had to be replaced. There were only 3 hangers in the cupboard, no good for dresses either. Soap dispenser on bathroom wall but no face cloth. The air-con was freezing, would not change temperature. There was no telephone in our room, no House Rules list, no Do Not Disturb signs for the doorknob. No Evacuation Notice and Meeting Point map. No smoke alarm, fire alarm, extinguishers, exit signs, water sprays, NOTHING! Terrible wi-fi, NONE! It took 15 hours for someone to finally reset the modem, after my continual complaining and telling them the problem was indeed the modem. The free water every day was in glass bottles, very rare these days and very dangerous obviously, especially on tiled floors. The mattress was rock hard, but the pillows were great. There was no spare toilet paper, we had to ask. No chairs in the place to hang wet towels, but there was a tiny rack in the bathroom and I mean TINY!! No power points in bathroom for charging razor. 1 point at the head of the bed, none at the sides. No points at the breakfast bench for charging anything, 2 underneath, so down on your hands and knees under the bench to boil the jug or charge your iPad. 2 coffee mugs, but no coffee, tea or spoons. The breakfast catered for Asians only and the owner actually beckoned a worker in to get a coffee and breakfast, lit cigarette in his mouth too. Workers did some work in the rooms and did not reconnect the fridge in ours!! Everything hot and water everywhere. Room keys are left on the bench at Reception, unattended!! The only good thing going for the place is that it is so close to the main street of Pua. To be fair, we were right at the front of the building and there was certainly no noise to worry about. Lady owner started doing stir fried vegetables for me for breakfast, because the lids were never done up securely on the margarine and jam containers. Full of ants every morning. Could not get a smile out of the 2 ladies who did breakfasts, serviced rooms, etc., until we were well and truly checked out. They were glad to see the back end of us and we were glad to see the back of them. Never Again!!!

Be Warned!!

I love staying here, friendly staff and a really good price right in the heart of Pua district which is one of my favourite places in the world.
Clean rooms, nice breakfast and amazing staff.
I actually stayed here for 5 months while teaching English at the local school and I enjoyed my stay very much. Wifi good and daily towels and water.
Very good stop again for 6 nights this time. Will keep visiting every year.
