From the online photos I expected more, the place is located in the east beach where the beach is unfortunately not beautiful especially during low tide.  The bugalow was very wet and too many mosquitoes.  The restaurant was practically closed and I had to look for another place to eat.  I understand that these are not easy times but since I go to relax I would like to find better

Below expectations

Stayed here this time for a couple off weeks. Very nice place. Quiet.
There are a few very nice beach-front bungalows from where you can walk straight on to the beach. Have a beer or a glass of wine while sitting on the balcony off ""youre house""
This time we stayed at bungalow nr 15. 
A 8 shaped bungalow with a bathroom and toilet attached to it.
Staring into the sea and watching birds, little longtailboats passing by.
Frendly staff, and the owner Paul is always there to help if there are questions about anything.
Even went fishing on his boat.

What a beauty

This resorts is in front of the worst beach of the island, with a lot of mosquito and during the low tide there is small of rotten staff.
Also the room has a small of dump almost everywhere.
The restaurant is a nice place but the menu expensive
The cost of the room is too high and on the island there are a lot of better place.

Ugly beach and expensive

I stayed at this resort with my family for only two nights then moved to an infrastructure in Buffalo Bay. Here the beach is perhaps the worst of the island, dirty and with a lot of low tides and mosquitoes. Even the bungalows are not cleaned well and inhabited by inserts. The restaurant is nice but like the bungalow everything is too expensive. There are better places on the island.

For me not enough

This is the third year in a row for me at PP Land Beach, and each visit has been for longer than the previous visit. That in itself should tell a story. The resort is isolated on the eastern side of the island, so at low tide you can walk a few kilometers, possibly without passing another person. The beach is good for swimming at high tide, as long as it isn't too windy. There are a few restaurants and a small shop within easy walking distance, but renting a motorbike will open the whole island to you. No beach will be more than 30 minutes away. The bungalows, although basic (no TV, no AC, no hot water, no WiFi) are comfortable and come with fan, table, night table with lamp, adequate power points, and bathroom with separate shower area. My review from last year mentioned that I would have enjoyed having a lamp by the bed for reading, and this year there was one. The bed has a mosquito net, however with the fan blowing I found that I did not need the net. Very quiet at night. Veranda had a hammock, table and 2 chairs. Nice place for an afternoon nap. The pool area is beautifully landscaped and comfortable, although on this visit the pool was out of order. The restaurant serves good quality food at standard island prices. Also homemade bread and ice cream. Free drinking water is available from their water cooler, so nice to avoid the plastic bottles for a change. Wifi in the common area was just average. My SIM card was of more use for internet. Staff were excellent. I enjoyed all of my interactions with them. The resort does not allow children, which suited me just fine. I'll be back.

Absolute dream location, right on the beach! Our little beach hut was beautifully decorated by someone with great flair. Such a welcome change from all the boring cream and grey hotel rooms we've stayed in. There is no air con but you have a standard fan and of course sea breezes! There are mozzies about so we kept the fan going (they like still air) and the two windows are screened so at night we shut the main glass, unscreened doors, left the windows open and the fan on and we were fine. There was a mozzie net but I hate those.

The bathroom is open to the elements, but when it rains only the shower gets wet. A really clever design and again a touch of flair! There is no hot water, but it was so hot here we didn't miss it. When I wanted to wash my hair I went and used the shower in the gym that does have hot water.

The food here was excellent. We ate here every night and for breakfast. They make their own bread and it is yummy. My husband had the same brekkie of mushroom omelette and home made bread toast every morning it was so good! 

But the absolute highlight of staying here for me was seeing a Hornbill in the tree next to our hut! didn't see another one even though we explored the island. 

The only sound at night, apart from the waves were the frogs who loved having a rousing singsong just as went to bed! but that's nature!

There are lots of very friendly street dogs on the island, but we were never worried by them, most were just keen for company which we happily supplied. 

We loved it here and would sty again!

A hut right on the beach!

It is a very quiet and romantic place if you wish to leave behind your daily stressful world and recover your body, mind and soul. The owner makes a lot of effort to produce his organic fruits and vegetables and the restaurant focuses to sell food and beverage in the same philosophy. Even though the resort is located just by the sunrise beach, they also have a charming swimming pool filled with salt water, gym for those who like to keep in shape and library for the hungry minds. You also need to keep in mind that since it is a quiet place, many of the guests don’t tolerate music or any other noise during the day or night, inside or outside of the bungalows. Remember to pack your headphones! One more important house rule is that you are not allowed to bring your own food or drink in the restaurant or to your bungalow in order to prevent their conditions. Ants and other animals living so close around you in their natural territory! If you don’t wish to share your bed with them, just stick to the rules and you will be perfectly fine. The resort offers food, drinks and free drinking water. The location is pretty close to other bars and restaurants in case you wish to experience more of the culinary places on this island. The atmosphere is peaceful; the “receptionist” is so knowledgeable and helpful, that you almost don’t need to approach him with your questions before you receive answers to all of it. We were very happy with the friendly staff, who never stopped smiling despite of their hard work. I would like to highlight E, the housekeeper, who became my friend and we both will miss her until our next visit. If you are writing a book, looking for your inner peace or just simply want to hide from the world’s stress, this place can provide you all!

Heaven in Paradise

Friendly staff... Excellent location... Great food... Came here with my family and having a great time. Beach was awesome..  Location was peaceful and off the beaten path. Will come here again especially for the onion rings :) 

Wonderful. 

We were a party of three (two parents and grown up son) and we spent an amazing three weeks at this resort.  It was so peaceful and relaxing.  The resort is in a less populated part of the island which was perfect for us as it was more private and secluded which we prefer. Although we didn't have a moped, we were still able to explore the island by foot without problem.  The tides did make it difficult to swim in the sea every day but the pool made up for that. The resort has 24 hr electricity although wifi was only available in the communal areas e.g. pool, bar/dining area. The bungalows we had were very nice - not air/conditioned but fan provided and en suite.  The team who work at PP Land were brilliant - we had a fantastic welcome and the whole team (cleaning, kitchen and laundry staff) work together to ensure you have a fantastic time with them.  We are already planning our return to the island and having checked out the other resorts on the island would definitely stay at PP Land again.
