Situated on what is essentially a desert island this hotel is  luxury accommodation. Huge rooms, enormous bathrooms, big comfortable beds, sea views, big verandas with comfortable furniture, sun beds on the beach, good room service . Friendly staff, great buffet breakfast. A lot of accommodation on the island is basic and troubled by lack of comfort bugs and vermin. This boutique hotel is far from that. Surprisingly luxurious. Cannot praise it enough. Don’t hesitate to stay. We were able to negotiate a great walk in price for a weeks stay.

Amazingly wonderful

We had a really beautiful stay here, it is definitely one of the best boutique resorts on the island. It’s very clean, modern rooms, air conditioning etc plus the team are amazing. They really went above and beyond, we were only sorry that we could not stay longer.

Best place in Koh Phayam

We fell in love with this place after many many trips to koh phayam with friends, this place was our little escape as its the most stylish friendliest place on the island or at least for us it was. Great foods drinks and accommodation you simply wouldn't think is available on a paradise island, well it is and this place was amazing. I proposed to my now wife of 3 years on the island and we just knew we wanted pur wedding day party here, to cut a long story short patrizia agreed to be our host and it was the most perfect wedding party with some 30 + guests all organised by the cede resort with 3 course dinner that was amazing. People on koh phayam are very very friendly but patrizia and her family went the extra mile. We are forever grateful to an amazing host xxx

Most comfortable seating and terrace, amazing place for sunset on aow yai beach, turbos cocktails are amazing, great service very attentive, thanks Cele hope to see you  again next year,brownie and koong

Amazing place

Stoped here 14-17 January 2020 as a couple.

It is a lovely set out resort, very boutique in style.  The rooms are a good size and decorated very modern and very nice.

The staff are very welcoming and will help with any request.

The beach is very nice, although Buffalo beach is more picturesque.

I would recommend paying the price as it is a little bit more? It is definitely worth it .

Fabulous idyllic getaway 

Cede Boutique Hotel has a great potential, but it is missing something. The bungalows are nicely situated, huge and give a good first impression. But when you look better there is room for improvement: the sliding doors were not closing properly and were nearly impossible to lock.  The ventilator had no power at all. Only from 17h till 9 h the aircon is working so a good working ventilator during the day is essential. The shower was lacking pressure and the hose was leaking. But the terrace was huge, the bed comfortable and the cleaning was ok. Breakfast was good and the coffee from the cafe tasted really nice. Location is fantastic: first line beach. The lounge deck is ideal to have a drink and watch the sunset. So loads of positive things, but still this feeling that things could improve. Staff is very friendly, but they look a bit lost. Management is hardly on site and if she is there she gives the impression to be more interested in her friends and the waves than her Hotel. Staff do not have clear roles and responsibilities. It is good that Vari is there. This man is running the business with help of the others and as good as he can, but there should be a decision maker present at least during the morning hours and a few hours in the afternoon. We enjoyed our stay but will never come back. 

Plus and minus: Cede has it all

The dozen of bungalows are nicely aligned in a well kept garden. Every body can enjoy sunset and the sea breeze from a private terrace. There's big windows in the room and the huge bathroom but unfortunately you better have to keep the curtains closed to keep the room as cool as possible especially in scorching March. And as the ac is only available from 5pm to 9am, this is a vital precaution.
The decoration is very simple and design, all in black and white, with lots of space and tiding shelves. Huge bed. Comfortable hard mattress.
The water pressure was great in the shower even if we encountered a few "water cut" quickly solved.
The coffee served here is probably one of the best you'll find in Thailand!
We only had dinner there once, not because of the food which was delicious, but the restaurant area is high on stilt and thus cut off the beach and missing of the all beach atmosphere.

Modern and sleek

It was a fairly smooth way to get to the Phayam island. We arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport 7:35 AM (Finnair). Got our bags and on the same floor as exit  - go to your right outside platform 3) and you find the free shuttle bus to the Don Mueang Airport (need to show your flight information - our flight 11:45AM to Ranong). Bus took 1,5 hours. Go to Terminal 2 Air Asia domestic. From Ranong you take the big bus to the pier (bus 150 Baht). There you get on the Speedboat (350 Baht) and after about 1 hours boatride you can hire a motorbike or take a motortaxi  (70€) Baht to Cede Resort.

Cede resort is a perfect place to relax. Enjoy swimming and walking on the beach. Beach is long and the sand is so fine. A little bit on the dark side but when you get deeper it’s so clear. The waves were great. You can motorbike, run and bike on the beach since the surface on the land is very hard. The only massage place I found on the beach was at the Bamboo resort. It was very good. Breeze was so nice and cool. Went there about the time of sunset every evening and had a nice long swim after that enjoying the waves.

The bungalows were very nice and roomy. The bathroom was huge and the showers were really working! Bed was just right, clean and tidy. You also had separate beach towels. The terrace was nice. Comfortable chairs. Nice to drink your coffee. (Watercooker in the room).

The breakfast was just perfect for us. Had some chicken rise soup and also müsli and fruits. The coffee was so COFFEE! Breakfast on the top of the beach was such a great way to start your day.

Went to several places to eat. Everything just great. Had some nice grilled red snapper at the Bamboo resort which was amazing. The food at Cede was just perfect. Mostly ate there.

The perfect getaway. And what was appealing to us was the ecofriendly policy at the esort. We got our plastic bottles filled every day. All kinds of nice touches of recycling. And we tried to do our part. Using as little AC as possible. During the night fan is quite enough and you get adapted to the heat quicker. Had the same beach towels for several days. There are big bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. And a cute text ”Don’t use water while using me”.  Thank you Patricia and your perfect team and especially your daughter who is so talented and so friendly. Great stay. We’ll be back.



Such an enchanting experience

Best accommodation by far on rural tropical island Koh Phayam. If you are looking for real Italian coffee you have to visit Cede Resort Coffee Shop. Maybe one of the best coffee served in Thailand. Food in European/Thai/Myanmar taste is worth to try.

A pretty resort with enthusiastic staff that just need a little more training. Great room, spacious, clean and very comfortable. The price was suitable for what you can get. I would strongly recommend this place to all.
