It took a couple of goes to find the place as it is just tucked away from the main road, but on arrival we were welcomed warmly and the place has a very light, airy and homely feel. Despite our booking being very last minute (less than 30 mins!) we were treated so well and had our (super heavy!) suitcases kindly carried upstairs for us. The room itself was a godsend with a lovely warm shower and even a balcony which was a nice surprise. Just outside the room was a lovely veranda with coffee making facilites. We arrived so shattered but left feeling so rejuvinated. There is also a 7-11 downstairs which was great to grab a snack before getting ready for our next flight. You guys really lightened our long day of travelling! Thank you so much. We really appreciated the lift to the airport afterwards too, thank you. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect for our last minute layover


I booked the Phuket airport guesthouse as somewhere to relax before catching our late night flight. Believing we'd have wifi, a tv and a clean setting.

What we got was:

1. a rat running across our path as we walked to the room

2. A tv which was not lcd/plasma and instead a tiny old tv which did not work properly and only had fuzzy/snowy thai channels.

3. No wifi in the room despite there being a sign in the room with the password for non exisistant wifi.

4. The room was dirty and only the bedding and towels were clean.

5. To be greated by a topless man who didn't speak a word of English and couldn't understand when we asked about the shuttle bus to the airport so we walked.

6. The description we'd be greeted by helpful staff was also not true.

This guest house is terrible and after a quick cold shower we left and walked to the airport. 

Don't waste your money even if it's only a small amount. 

I booked through Priceline and have made a complaint as it was not as described at all and has left us sitting at the airport for 7 hours as its better than sitting in that hovel.


So bad we left within an hour

Now you've got to keep in mind this place costs £20 now it was never going to be a palace but a reasonable basic room was expected. Took forever to find as it's hidden behind a launderette accessed by a rat infested passageway. The garden in the pictures is covered on rubbish, the room is tiny with an old crt tv that is terrible and a couple of decades before any flat screen which apparently is also included he beds look nothing like the pictures posted, behind the curtains is a disgrace, shower was cold, could not find the wifi anywhere. Ended up leaving after 30 mins and walking to the airport as couldn't seem to get the supposed shuttle bus. What a joke, never again would I go somewhere that has not already had reviews be thankful you have read this.
