I was blown away by the staff and how hospitable and friendly they were. I arrived very early and they let me check in right away. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed is a little hard, like every bed in Thailand (it's just a thing here) but better than most. The free bottled water and coffee in the morning is wonderful (they actually brought my coffee to the room the first day). The AC and Wi-Fi is great! The family running it is very sweet. Not much English but work hard to help despite that. When I needed help getting somewhere, the owner actually drove me himself. The one downfall of the place is it's kinda in the middle of nowhere. If you have a bike/car, it's perfect (lots of parking), but it's tricky without. I utilized my room's mini fridge to keep some snacks and take-away meals so I didn't have to venture far. 7-11 and Cafe Amazon are about ten minute walk and Big C is 15-20. Plenty of places to eat along main road by 7-11 so totally manageable. A lot of loose neighborhood dogs, like everywhere in Surin, can be intimidating. The hotel's dog is nice! N-joy really made my stay in Surin very pleasant!
