We booked that hotel for a few nights, then we looked for a suitable hotel on the spot. The hotel was ideal for that. The breakfast was really great. There was chicken, toast, white bread, homemade banana bread, jam and fresh fruit. We could also rent scooters directly in the hotel, the price was even better than outside and the scooters were new. The owner was very friendly and always helpful.

Affordable room prices

Lovely little guesthouse on a quiet street in Khao Lak away from the bustle and noise but close enough to walk to everything including the night markets, beach, bars and restaurants! They picked us up from the airport and all the staff were super friendly and helpful. We would stay here again :)

Lovely!

Super clean hotel. The Swiss owner is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is great. Every day fresh fruit. Roller rental in the hotel. Near the tsunami museum. Bus stop less than five minutes' walk.

I think we felt

The guesthouse is characterized by its friendly staff and cleanliness. The guest is welcomed in person. This is thanks to the manager. She is always present in person at check-in and reception. She is competent for questions. A scooter can be rented conveniently and uncomplicatedly on the spot. The rooms are very clean and are lovingly cleaned. The breakfast is rich and delicious. The price-performance ratio is not to be overstated. Always happy;-)

Great holidays.

Comfortable room, everything is very clean and breakfast is really delicios! The owner is very friendly and helpful and she can arrange some day trips at lower prices than what the travel agencies offer. 
It is about 15 minutes walk to the beach. You can take a taxi to the hotel from the airport for 1200 baht, back to the airport 1000 baht (Thanabodee Boss Krongyut).

Great cosy hotel

Its a great guest house and we can recommend it.

The rooms are very clean and you have everything you need there, but not more. So dont be disappointed, if you dont get a flat screen ;)
We rented a motorbike there and discovered Khao Lak. The owner is really friendly and helpful by all kind of questions.

Unfortunately the beach is quite far away, but thats ok. We didnt pay much for the stay ;)

Great great great

Very clean and well maintained house. They were very kindly welcomed. Breakfast for this price was good. They had a nice stay and enjoyed a cool drink with the other guests. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. They also rented a motorcycle cheaply in the guesthouse and explored the beautiful surroundings. Really recommended!!!!

It's a great stay.

We booked three rooms in six people, when we arrived two of these 'rooms' were completely without windows!!! That is, suffocating places. To our complaints the Thai staff replied smiling, 'Solly', so we wanted to talk to the boss, a Swiss lady who replied smiling,'sorry'.... Attention in this ghuesthause there are 11 rooms of which there are definitely 3 without windows no larger than 6 square meters, if you get there already bound by a booking you can't choose to leave unless you lose your money. I haven't seen rooms like this in Bangkok.

Rooms without windows

This guesthouse is really worth a visit. The rooms are spacious, bright and above all extremely clean. They have ventilator and air conditioning. A small refrigerator is available as well as a cabinet with a keyed safe. The bathroom water is warm, and the bathroom in question is modern. Breakfast alone is wonderful! Dishes or scrambled eggs, toasts, toast, bread, croissant, two jams, a plate of fresh fruit, a coffee, that's happy! The employee is super nice, available, useful and fun. It takes twenty minutes to walk to the nearest beach, but a taxi is also available and the guesthouse has a scooter service available.

The guesthouse is really flawless.

I was very happy with Swiss Guesthouse. The room was small but very clean and cozy. Air conditioning, safety box and hot water were available. The breakfast was served to table in the "lobby" and it included coffee or tea, juice, fresh fruits, scrambled eggs and bread and croisants with jam and butter. The beach was about 500 meters away and there were lots of restaurants near the guesthouse. The staff was very helpful and friendly, one of the employees took us to a bus stop when we left. The only negative thing was that there was no staff at night, so no one was keeping watch. On the other hand the area where the guesthouse was located seemed very peaceful so we didn't have to be afraid of our belongings or safety.

I would certainly recommend Swiss Guesthouse, especially to budget travellers.
