Fantastic
It is difficult to fault this resort. The villa is beautifully appointed with lots of thoughtful touches (thongs, sarongs, well maintained bikes) all complimentary. The pool is very good. The kitchen maintains an exceptionally high standard. The croissants were perfect. It is very remote and though you can take a bike ride to the local village, it is a hike and definitely not walking distance. There are no easy options to eat outside the resort in the evening, so you can feel a bit of a captive audience. There is no nightlife or evening entertainment. We love taking a beach walk each morning and were very disappointed to see so much plastic on the beach and no effort to clean it up. In July the surf is rough here and beach swimming not really an option. There is a reasonable gym which badly needs better air con or fans.
