We were quite impressed of the real 4* hotel. Usually 4* in Tunisia mean 3 real *, but this one not.
Food was great, staff good too, beach was close, swimming pools nice and clean.

Room did not have AC, but we were there in October, so we did not feel the heat that much.
We were there in 2009, maybe now they changed it.

The only '-' is that it is far from Tunis ... 2h30m driving :)

Not a bad choice ... I recommend it.

V good hotel

They show this hotel on net and shift guests to another shabby and dormitory type hotels at last moment saying that now rooms are not available. Beware of this hotel. We done booking through travel agency sunny days and had to spend our valuable time and booked into room for personal.Never never never....

I booked to stay at this hotel with my friend and her partner in November 2011. On the day we were checking in, I arrived there 5 minutes before my friend and her partner so started to organise the check in with the female receptionist there. She was incredibly rude and stated that I could have any Tunisian man share my bed if I liked with no problems from the hotel and suggested that a male Tunisian friend of ours who arrived with my friend and her partner to wait on us could stay with me if I liked. I was completely shocked at this remark and quite disgusted at her basically stating that all European woman are there for sex with the local men.

The hotel was clean but very outdated, we were booked for bed and breakfast but never ate there as we tended to go out to the local cafes which are just a 5 minute walk down the street as we know them well having stayed in other hotels in this area. There was also no hot water no matter what time of day you went for a shower.

Also the female receptionist obviously didn't do her job right in general as the next night, when we came back in there was a different receptionist on the desk and we had a slight problem as the female one hadn't put through the system that we had checked in, luckly i had a copy of the booking voucher but he eventually found the one she had taken off me under a massive stack of papers.

All in all, a disgusting hotel with terrible staff, not a 4 star in the slightest. I've stayed in 3 star hotels in Tunisia that give 100% better stay and service. I would never EVER recommend this hotel to anyone.

Terrible service, terrible hotel

my friend and i have just returned from a month in this hotel. 4star it is not!!! more like -4star. The food was never hot even though we went down at 7pm,opening time,it was the same every day,the kitchen staff had filthy chef outfits on,the tablecloths were filthy and left on 3days and more,the white ones had stains that must have been there for months,just plain dirty. the staff were not of clean appearance they were very offhand and just dismissed comments that we made. we were the only 2 english in for most of time,this hotel not really for english holidaymakers. the bedrooms ok needed updating. no hairdryer, most 4star have these, in fact 3star hotels have them. we have been tunisia many times,stayed in 2star that have been superior to this. worst holiday we have ever had. no fridge in room but in advertisement says there is one. we could have had one for 5dinars a day!!!! in england this hotel would have been closed due to the poor hygiene in the restaurant and the bad food. T he only good thing was our terrific rep who must have got fed up of our moans,she did constantly go to the manager with our complaints.but it didnt make much difference.

disgusting hotel

We were dumped in this hotel by Youhotels as they had failed to pay the bill for the hotel we had  originally booked. This is certainly not of a 4 star quality. The hotel is rundown, the food is terrible and the all inclusive drinks a joke!. Were arrived to a pool full of local families doing pool aerobics  and it was chaotic!, there were no english guests only a few german. The beach bar consists of a man standing behind a table with a bottle of coke, lemonade, and water with the smallest cups you have ever seen. It's one saving grace is what the receptionist is very nice and the beach not too bad.
