Wonderful place for a holiday. I highly recommend. Private beach, large swimming pool, very large selection of good food. You can really relax. Hotel staff helpful and supportive. The biggest surprise is the hotel's animators, who organized the guests' time from morning to night. Every evening on a different topic, really great wow for the team. During the day, darts, volleyball, archery and the world's best Aqua Gym! Big applause for the animation team! I'll be happy to come back.

Great holiday!

I stayed in Eden Star on 22-29 August 2024 with my 7-years old grandson. We are from Poland. 
I am very honest, it was already my 4-th stay in Tunisia in 2024, all hotels of minimum 4 stars ⭐️ 

As for positive aspects: 
- hotel in nicely placed straight by the warm sea
- animation Team is doing all to entertain you
- lots of activities, animations and fun
- my room on 3-rd floor got a nice sea view 
- swimming pool fairly clean, lifeguard present
- cleaning Team always doing utmost 
- wifi very good in my room 401
- fair air conditioning, quite silent
- we did not get any food poisoning luckily 
- lobby bar always empty and available 
best barman Achraf (thank you for nice service)
- good coffee from the coffee machines 
- fresh orange juice at 1 euro at breakfast 
- mini disco for kids at 20.30-21.00 pm

Things possibly to be amended/improved:
- the whole hotel complex is built in U-shape,
so it is very acoustic; loud aggressive music till 23.30 pm, for sure you will not fall asleep 
Better take the room with garden view
- the hotel rooms pictures are NOT what we got !
 We were accommodated in an old room
and the same for all Polish people I met there 
( strange pattern for each nationality ?)
- 7 Polish people left the hotel after 1 day
- very poor communication in English 
- my room was the best place for many pigeons 
 making it completely dirty ( see my pictures)
- first 4 days the beach was fully loaded with
seaweed mountains, 5 meters wide black zone
later slightly cleaned to make a narrow entry
- I never was able to get a sun-bed by the pool
there are too many people hunting for them
- pool bar serving drinks in glass to French-speaking tourists, and plastic to others 
- drinks quality very under the standard 
- sorry, but the restaurant is a big mess: 
waiting and cueing for each meal, looking for clean table, chasing for the cutlery etc...
- food just fair, I am not a gourmand, but I have tasted much better cusine at ather places, not too much choice and quite repetitive each day 
- we had a bad lift experience: big bang and it stopped! My grandson got crying, after a minute we went down happily 
- small things make a big difference: see the picture of water tap in the toilet behind the pool bar; why can't it be exchanged??? 
- the place is in the middle of nowhere 

Overall, I will not go back there again....

TKM Marine Beach and Sentido Djerba Beach😊

Mixed feelings

The hotel in the middle of nowhere with the worst service I had ever experienced in my life. In a nutshell, very unprofessional, rude, and arrogant reception staff,  lacking ANY interest in accommodating hotel guests and making their stay nice and pleasant. The only exception was Mabrouk who spoke English (he was one of a very few people who could communicate in this language) was very professional, kind, funny, and genuinely tried to attend to and help hotel guests. I should also mention Hedi who served as an excellent source of info about the surrounding area as well. 
* if you are planning to get some sleep at this hotel and enjoy some quiet time - please, do not come here! And I mean it.  During the day, the animation program is manageable even though the animation team members just yell and scream and the area around the pool bar is VERY loud. But the NOISE in the evenings and nights is just unbearable. Animation ends at around 11pm and then there’s extremely loud music on the beach until 2am!!!! No one can sleep!!!! One word - HORRIBLE. 
* I have this place two stars, one for amazing warm waters of the Mediterranean Sea ( not even the beach bc this one is small and full of seaweeds!!!!  Another star is for a great variety of food! I think that everyone can find  something delicious to eat even though the food does lack flavor. 
* problems with the lounges at the beach; there’s not enough of them
* important!!!! I purchased the vacation package from the Polish tour agency TUI - first and last time. Not only was I not informed that the hotel I paid for was NOT located on the island of Djerba ( it was Djerba -Zarzis, 1 hour bus ride to Djerba) but also, in twenty first century, the TUI representative refused to accept my credit card as the payment for one of the local tours. Moreover, NO ONE from TUI was interested in well-being of its customers in any way - very low-quality service which is VERY DISAPPOINTING. 
**** if you are looking for peace, quiet, and quality - look somewhere else, PLEASE.

Would never stay there again!

We are from Ukraine, we stayed at the hotel from September 6 to 14.  There is such an atmosphere here that we will definitely come back here.  Thank you very much to all the staff, the girls at the reception are friendly.  Amel worked with us, she wholeheartedly resolved our issues with the settlement.  Special thanks to the animation team, everything is very unobtrusive, always a good program, pleasant music plays in the hotel.  We arrived from another hotel, where, due to the loud rap music, from which there was nowhere to hide throughout the entire territory, it was impossible to stay.  nice well-kept area, although small.  They take great care of cleanliness.  Good cuisine, rich sweet table.  If you like the atmosphere of a pleasant private club with good manners, come here, you won’t regret it.  we will get back to you!  Thank you all !

The overall experience was far from satisfactory, with numerous issues that made my stay quite unpleasant. Firstly, the food provided by the hotel was of incredibly poor quality. The taste was bland and unappetizing, and the limited variety made every meal a monotonous affair.

Furthermore, the staff at the hotel lacked professionalism and seemed disinterested in providing proper service. Their indifference towards guests' concerns was frustrating, as they were unhelpful and failed to address even the most basic requests. It was disappointing to witness such a lack of commitment to customer satisfaction.

The absence of room service was a significant drawback. it is expected that a hotel would offer this convenience to its guests.

One aspect that deeply troubled me was the sight of children working in the hotel's kitchen. It is both ethically and legally questionable to employ underage

Poor Service, Bad Food, and Troubling Observations

The animators are fantastic, friendly and helpful but for me is mama do and Tayga and baddies and Liliuo and Momo all the team is very friendly and funny. I wish the best for all the team. Animations are interesting and I’m so happy to be here. I want to back one day soon. 

My opinion about hotel and animators 

Everything was wonderful :food, people , attractions and the weather. The hotel is situated on the beautiful area at the  sea. Beach discos nice too but too much French music.I'm from Poland and we dont speak French  , mostly we speak English. Man at reception is  the only one who speaks English perfectly and the Polish people are very satisfied with his service because he always has solution for them:) Thank you very much:))

Wonderful place

- This hotel is not for demanding tourists. The infrastructures are pretty old and they need renovation. 
- Staff poorly speak English (only French and Arabic)
- Beverages are served in small plastic cubs bc of lack of glasses which is annoying if you get a drink in the evening bar in plastic
- Lots of cats in the dining area which are fed by guests and it doesn’t help in ridding of them
- Don’t take economy room bc you will almost enter kitchen from the window and will have tones of flies in the room.
- Transactions better done in € than $
-/+ animations in French but animator guys encourage everyone to join
 + The beach is very beautiful and wide.
+ Beach equipment provided
+ Water sport, horse or camel riding on the beach (extra fee)
+ Shisha bar (with very nice and polite man who serves) 5€/$
