We got very lucky with the time of year, hotel had very few guests and hot weather. Food was lovely, hotel was very clean and tidy and has everything you need. 
The animation team are all so friendly and accommodating, they make hotel Houda 10/10.
Would definitely come back !

Brilliant hotel, animation team were excellent, really funny and made you feel welcome, done anything for you, food was great and plenty to choose from, lovely garden and swimming pool, life guards were funny too, definitely recommend, wish we stayed longer, a week isn't long enough 

Excellent time

Please, do not believe the bad review, because it is not correct. This hotel is very underrated for no reason. For the beginning - very kind reception, security guys, clean ladies, the team of kitchen and the most wonderful thing of the hotel is the animation team! They provide us very great memories, expirience and they are very very professional. Without them it wouldnt be so great. We are very glad to meet them. Thank you for the great vacation and we want to come back sooner to meet again this team.

The best animation team

Amazing hotel had a great time here. The animation team is very friendly And interactive. There is many activities throughout the day eg Aqua gym, aerobic, ping pong if swimming and sunbathing will start to bore you. There are large pools, deeper and less deep for smaller children as well as both outside and inside pools for warmer and colder days. The food is amazing and there is a wide choice available even close to the end of the season. Overall, each day is filled with excitement and absolute vibes

the first time i came to Tunisia . in this Hotel .
its really nice hotel and i spend nice and beautiful holiday . everything is good here . reception people  . restaurant people . bar people . they are all nice and smart specially Animation Team they are the best thing here in the Hotel . they are always smiling and very friendly and helpful and with so much energy and motivation  i want to give a big Thank For ( Kizou,Simo,Obama, Zuba,Dido,Kimo,Nina,and The chef Carlo )   for everything's they did for all the geust's and for us .  i would recommend this Hotel to anyone and everyone

Super Holiday

This was my second visit to Houda, the first with family 16 years ago, and the second as a lone traveler. I needed the familiarity and service that I had experienced previously, and it certainly did not disappoint. 

Reception - I arrived late in the evening, the reception team greeted me with smiles, a cocktail, and a bottle of water and I was swiftly checked in after completing the required paperwork. This high level of customer service continued throughout my stay.

Hotel, Room & Pools – The hotel has so much to offer, from massage, a gym, sauna, indoor pool, kids club, private beach, daily activities provided by the animation team, a shop, and so much more. The hotel is clean, and the team continued to work throughout the day to keep it that way. My room was cleaned daily, towels changed, the bedding changed every other day and I had working air conditioning. There is a TV in each room and a fixed hairdryer. Each morning I woke to find the groundsman tending the gardens and the pools being cleaned. The level of attention to cleanliness surpassed my expectations. There are plenty of sunbeds for everyone, with umbrellas if you require that little bit of shade during the day. The beach provides sunbeds and parasols and there is a selection of water sports for you to enjoy at a reasonable cost. 

Restaurant/Bar – There is a good selection of food for everyone. Breakfast is more continental but there is the choice of omelette or scrambled eggs. There is always a salad option, fresh bread, rice, chips, vegetables, and mains changed daily from chicken, beef, pizza, and pasta. The latter 2, are cooked to order for you. The waiters and serving staff are super friendly. The bar staff are great, always friendly & smiling (except for one, I will let you work that one out!) The drink selection is not great, but it is not an English pub. Choices are wine, Red, White, Rose, Gin, Vodka, Whiskey, Rum, beer, and soft drinks. I agree with an earlier review about it being watered down, the vodka certainly seemed to be. Nevertheless, it did not stop anyone from having a good time and enjoying the selection. The only downside was the plastic cups, were small, flimsy, and inadequate. So, so, much waste.

Entertainment – I have saved the best to last. The animation team, I ♥ my job, and they most certainly do. Carlo, Zuba, Kizou, Obama, and Simo work tirelessly to keep everyone happy, and always with a smile. There are always daily activities for the children & adults, including mini-club, aqua aerobics, water polo, darts, and yoga. The morning starts with a dance at 10 am by the pool to wake everyone up. The evening entertainment always started with a mini disco for the children followed by a selection of dancing and shows until late into the evening. I had my first Salsa Lesson 😊 They ensured they chatted to everyone, during the day and in the evening, and as a lone traveler it was very much welcomed. 
It takes many teams to make a hotel work but for me, the animation team is the heartbeat of Houda. 

I have had the most fantastic, relaxing week that exceeded even my own expectations. In comparison to the other hotels, I have stayed at in Tunisia the Houda hotel is the best. It’s an amazing place to go on holiday, and I am looking forward to returning this September to do it all again. Keep up the excellent work you are all truly amazing at what you do. 

Feedback for the Management.
Please change the cups you serve drinks in. The cardboard cups for coffee are dangerous and flimsy, an accident waiting to happen, and the plastic cups are just not fit for purpose. Being so small just causes an increase in visits to the bar, causes congestion, additional work for the bar team, and guest frustration. I cannot see how they are financially viable; they are wasteful and in a growing world where single-use plastic is now frowned upon it needs addressing. Plastic rigid reusable half-pint glasses would be a positive step for the hotel and bar and give you that edge over the other hotels in the area that also have the same negative feedback from their guests.

Amazing, Fabulous, Superb ♥

If you are searching for luxury, this is not your hotel!
But if you want authentic Tunisian atmosphere, emotions and Fun this is Your hotel. Hotel and pool are very clean. Staff is friendly and helpfull. Food is plenty and delicious. And now about what  my family mostly liked-the animation team! These guys are just awesome!! Lots of activities for kids and adults. Very friendly and helpfull. Big Thank you to you-Obama, Zuba, Carlo and Kizou, we miss you allready!

Please take a minute and read. This was the second time we have chosen Houda for Family holiday.

Reception - we have arrived very late at night, were allocated and taken up.to the room. Smooth check-in can't fault it. 

Bar - staff friendly. Bar tender very nice, always bringing drinks to pools side. If you're in the pool or watching kids in the pool, don't worry, you're good for drinks! Bottled water was available from the bar as well.

Restaurants - again friendly staff, especially Ali restaurant floor supervisor. If you fancy something different that's served for lunch or dinner just let the chef know, he will make it happen. Freshly made pizzas and pastas available as well. 

Food - Tunisian soup was my favourite choice. Rice and chicken prepared in different ways were always available for lunch and dinner. Breakfast food ok, fresh croissants, selection of cheese and sandwich ham, also there was always chef available to cook omlette and scrambled eggs or pancakes.
For afternoon snack pancakes were fried outside the restaurant served with chocolate at about 3pm. 

Rooms -  was checked in to 414 and moved to 214 on our request. Both rooms very spacious with two large balconeis, I was worried about water pressure but honesty very good! Balcony good size with chairs and table, also drying line for towels and swim suits. Tiles through out, so nice and cold for when you get up in the morning. Rooms cleaned every day, fresh towels supplied. One day the lady arranged my daughter pyjamas and her plush toys on the bed in fancy way,my Daughter really liked it.

Pools - sun loungers were always available and there is plenty, no need to reserve early in the morning. Life guards always on duty. I have seen pools being cleaned every morning. Water in the pools nice and warm. There is also little pool for younger children. 
Slides - good fun, that's one of the reasons we have chosen this hotel. Kids enjoyed it a lot. 

Entertainment - PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE TRAVELING WITH KIDS!!
Carlo, Zuba, Kizou, Obama, Simo - really made our stay extra special, always friendly, nothing is too much to ask. During the day, kids club was organized for as little as one child, if my daughter wanted to go, Kizou would always take her. 
During the day, they have organised lots of activities for kids and adults - aqua aerobics, water polo, swim challenge, squirt fights, darts and more!
In the evenings, kids disco, dance classes, karaoke or good laugh in general. They have always had time to keep you company, offer advice on places to see or just high five with kids. 

Very nice holiday with Family. We have also made new friends. Hotel staff and manager encouraged us to keep together. We had tables connected for the 12 of us even though we have not travelled together.
Hotel staff have organised Tunisian evening with good food and nice music, something for us to remember. 
There are sales people in the lobby offering different activities. We have nick named them Camel Boss and Boat Boss... I don't think they are directly from the hotel but also recommend to ask if you think of things that you fancy doing. Very nice guys! 
One thing to remember for next time - mosquito repellent and soothing cream for sun tan 😁

Hotel is located in between Sousse and Monastir. Both short ride away by bus. Ticket costs 1 dinar per person there and back. Taxi to Monastir there and back was about 20 dinars. 

I hope that after reading this, you will make your mind and choose this hotel for your holiday. I know that competition is there but trust me, it it the people that work in this hotel that will make your stay super amazing.

First time coming to this hotel with me and my 2 children we had the best time the animation team were brilliant always on hand when needed very good with the kids always making sure we were ok couldn’t fault any of them they were all on point  with everything couldn’t fault them in any way  the hotel was very clean  I really do recommend this hotel to anyone ithere was always free sunbeds so need to reserve or get up early to get one. 
Reception were very welcoming when arrived and very helpful with helping carrying luggage up the stairs only daultful was having no lifts there but that wasn’t an issue and not far to walk up the stairs. There was always someone there to help if needed. 
Food- the food was lovely there was always different types of food through everyday and if you didn’t like something tej chef is brilliant and would go out his way to cook something for  you of what you want. 
Bar staff- the bar staff were amazing always bringing drinks over you don’t have to leave your Sunbed 
Life guards- always there and making sure all the kids are ok and and wpukd play ball with them always happy and helpful 
Entertainment- the animation team were absolutely amazing  
They worked so hard all day everyday even with the hotel being empty due to low season they were spot on always go out of the way to entertain us all. They were absolutely brilliant with the children I have never been to a hotel where the entertainment team are so hands on they were just amazing there was morning dancing around the pool and plenty more games through out the day there was kids disco every night where the kids would join in then danced that adults could join in and have fun! The entertainment team really did make our holiday always had smiles in there faces always laughing and joking with everyone they truly have hearts of gold they deserve the best rears for what they do!!.
The hotel - the hotel was lovely and clean always had someone on hand if needed very helpful the pools are clean and big and has a wicked water slides that everyone can have fun down.
The bar workers were amazing always bringing us drinks by the oool , the lobby and of an evening while enjoying the entertainment. 
They all simply work so hard!!. 

I 100% would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone never be put  of the reviews they are all amazing and so friendly helpful and just wicked. I had the best 10 days here and will be booking to come back again very soon!!

Houda golf

A great holiday with the family. Yes the rooms are a bit tired but how long do you spent in the room my biggest complaint about the room No Fridge in 2023 this is not good enough. The food was ok a bit repetitive but never when hungry the waiters were great nothing was to much trouble. Pool area and beach great plenty of sun loungers but was October. By far the best part of this hotel is the STAFF
