Normally I only write reviews regarding highly recommended spots or places to be avoided. Happily Hotel Paris Sousse falls into the former category. I am not a "bakpacker" and when travelling I am fortuneate to be able stay in a variety of places from $40 to $400 dollars a night. This hostel/small hotel falls at the lower end of price and is located within but on the edge of the medina making it in an ideal position to visit the old and the new town. The rooms are very small but clean,with good hot water and good beds. There is a very nice restaurant attached(Restaurant du Peuple) which is open for breakfast and lunch. All in all excellent value. 

Location plus value

I checked in here late last night as a single European woman. The male check in staff were lovely. I felt very safe and welcome.

The rooms are simple but very clean especially for Tunisian standards. The bed was very comfy and I even had free Wi-fi  and a tv and air conditioning.

They even lent me a phone charger for the night.

Thank you so much hotel Paris, you are the best and I would love to stay again with you someday.

Five star service from a little medina hotel.

Best place to stay on a budget

The hotel is located in medina, very close to the city centre, railway and bus stations,  beaches and it's great: you can experience local background and life very easily. The building is in a excellent condition, though it's typical old hotel in arabic style. All is very clean and convenient. The staff is friendly and helpful, we felt ourself as at home.

Excellent location

The staff were amazing. Check in fast, answered any questions and provided us promptly with whatever we needed. 

Room was spotless. Perfectly located outlets for charging. Very comfy beds. 

Bathrooms were always clean, showers were very nice. 

Location is amazing!! Short walk from train station and right at the Medina with walking distance to everything.

The value of this hotel compared to others in the area is INCREDIBLE. We stayed at a 4 star resort and would much rather come back to this hotel. You get much more than what you pay for!! Thank you so much!!

Pleasently Surprised

A nice budget hotel located by the entrance to the Medina and easily accessible to cafes, restaurants, shops, information center, and the station. They have a restaurant right below the hotel for added value. The staff were friendly and attentive.

They offer laundry service for a great price. The only concern was that they put the clean laundry in the same bag the dirt ones were in. They could have offered a new bag.

Great value and location

One of the best hostels to stay in sousse for more than 1 night ,the reception stuff are so welcoming and friendly and the place is so calm and clean ,despite the lack of facilities and the slow wifi connection,but if you’re looking to stay in a safe and clean place ,and also a very cheap one ,then here you go get a great deal 

The perfect sneak peak

Staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. I was welcome at the bottom of the stairs, helped out with my backpack and within 5minutes i was in my room. Gave me time to explore the town straight away. Room was just the right size, confy double bed and good wifi (finally). Good quality/price. Totally recommend it

Great location and staff

The price is good (although the staff tried to impose a strange exchange rate on me). The room is perfectly clean, although it's small and plain. Wi-fi works perfectly; just ask the staff for the password. The location is great: it's right next to everything you could want. The staff let me check out early too.

Affordable, well-located

I only give poor reviews when absolutely necessary. Now I'll be straight, reception, friendly no problems there. Rooms, traditional Tunisian, open air courtyard so rooms are cold but they do provide enough blankets. Cleanliness... This is mainly where my concern is. Floors and rooms swept but not thoroughly cleaned. Toilets.... I understand where I am but absolutely deplorable! Toilets do not flush properly, shower rooms dirty. I mean as a solo traveller if your looking for just a roof over your head... Its OK... Just OK... Location is its only real plus.. Heart of the Medina, 5 minutes to beach.

Hostel... Not hotel

This is the worst hotel I visit in my entire life anyway we can't call it hotel to make a tent I front of the sea will be more better. Staff r extremely impolite they don't have skills at all they too unprofessional especially the old man who has morning shift. The room r terrible. This is the worst place I visit in my life & the pictures that they put in their website r all fake I will never recommend this mess to anyone. I feel so bad & my family too.
