The hotel is really nice in old city of antakya, the smell of soap when you enter is really good, the staff is really helpful and  welling to provide the best services, the room is big, nice, and comfortable, i stayed for two nights and it was a pleasure vacation.

Smell of soap is a nice touch

I’m giving this hotel a 5* rating even though I didn’t see it at its best. Of all the hotels I stayed at during my road trip around south eastern Turkey, this was the one where the management and staff where most stressed about Covid. Reception staff were wearing visors, everyone else gloves etc. They insisted on registering me on the Turkish government health app even though as a foreign non-resident tourist the rules don’t require it. The restaurant was closed except for breakfast, and as so often here the English of reception staff was not good enough to answer basic questions, eg about hiring a guide. At one point they had to call the owner-manager by phone who had slightly better English. The stand-out member of staff was the bar woman who went to great lengths to prepare me drinks (residents only). I hope to return in more normal times! 

Beautiful hotel

An old soap factory turned into a nice boutique hotel, Savon is located walking distance to the city center and the new National Museum. The smell of soap welcomes you as you walk in the reception area and never leaves you while you're there. Rooms are comfortable and they have a mountain view. You wake up to fresh air and soap smell in the mornings. Breakfast is adorned with famous delicacies of Antakya. Staff is friendly and aleats have a nice thing to say making you feel at home. I loved my time there! Thank you!

Antakya visit

The building itself was once a soap factory, and has been converted into a small, two-storey, high-quality hotel, its rooms surrounding a lovely courtyard, in part of which you can also eat, just outside the dining room, in good weather.  It is centrally located, and quiet despite the daytime traffic on the street it fronts. Loads of atmosphere. No elevator--but the staff will manage your baggage. Dinner is a buffet, with excellent food; and the breakfast buffet is also excellent and extensive.

A lovely local hotel

Tour company booked our group here and it was a good choice. Buffet dinners and breakfasts were very good in quality and variety. A short walk to the market. Room was very nice and had everything we needed. 

Very Nice

Previously an olive oil factory (and a soap factory before that) this place is tastefully converted to a boutique bed and breakfast. The rooms are a little small and most of them get their sunlight from a sky window. The bathrooms is very clean and new. Beds are comfortable.
The breakfast is full of local dishes and quite extensive. The staff is extremely kind and helpful.
Book ahead for spring and fall. Being "the" place to stay, it fills up real quickly. 

Should be your first choice

Savon hotel is located nearby the historical center of Antakya, walking distance to many major sites and attractions (including the famous archeological museum in Antakya). The building (renovated from an old soap factory into an high-class hotel but maintaining its local soul) was amazing. The open buffet breakfast is rich and offers variety of local food (even new for many Turkish people like me, who visited Antakya first time). There is a significant contrast between the hotel and the surrounding region, which seems to be the domestic middle-market business region of Antakya, but it really adds up to your experience when visiting such a city with a rich and mixed culture. The pricing may be a little bit expensive compared to the average in this city; but I believe the benefits overweigh the cost for a short visit.

Excellent hotel in central Antakya

Staff, hotel, room, breakfast, location all perfect. Next time to stay here again. Hotel has a free park place. Breakfast includes all local tastes but also international staff, including omlet as you wish.
