Visited the restaurant on our trip to Turgutreis and we were most impressed. Food was superb, service was really friendly and polite, perfect location situated right on the seafront. Starter bread and olives were lovely. Sea bass was beautiful, freshly caught and fried. Bloody Mary was very nice. 10/10 restaurant, would definitely recommend.

Gorgeous food

Me, my wife and 3 daughters visited here last year, we didnt actually stay here but when we ventured into the town we ate here on more than 1 occasion.
All the food here was absolutely delicious, and traditional, i can highly recommend the mixed grill and the calamari and prawn starters.
The staff could not be more welcoming and do NOT try to shout at you as you are walking past just to get you in the restaurant (alot of other places in the area do this). They also speak excellent english.
The location is beautiful, right on the beach front overlooking the aegean sea.
Very reasonably priced and again, i could not recommend highly enough.

Excellent food and staff

My husband and I visited this restaurant 3 times in one week 
The food is absolutely exquisite, the staff are absolutely amazing and welcoming, we were remembered and were given good service 
We did pay extra for certain foods but it was worth it 
We had chaetue Briand cooked in front of us at our table, delicious prawns and calamari 
Food to carter for all tastes and fussiness!!! 
Cocktails to die for and good decent wines 
This is why we went back and they looked after us with complimentary drinks as a gratitude 
Spectacular scenery and the most beautiful sunset you could imagine

Absolutely beautiful restaurant

Just returned to the UK after spending a wonderful 2 weeks at this special family run Hotel.The place was immaculately cleaned every day with fresh towels also the view from our room was probably the best the wonderful sun set were always spectacular. The staff were always there ready to help you out if you requested anything they would always try to accommodate you.The breakfast was plentiful typically Turkish with great cheeses and wonderful tomatoes. The location was was great very central literally minutes from some great Restaurants.WIFI was great in all parts of the hotel i can safely say I didn't want to leave can't wait to go back a little coffee shop was located next door we often had a night cap &watched the world go by i will be booking this special Hotel kortan as soon as I can.

A little gem.

We really had a great Bayram holiday with my friend at Kortan Hotel. The hotel is located on the sea side and has a wonderful sand beach with a very clean sea. The rooms were extremely clean, and the house keeping personnel were very friendly. Even the side rooms have a sea view as well as the beautiful bazaar streets of Turgutreis, spending time at the balcony was just great The breakfast hall was one of the best parts for us with its wonderful panoramic sea view. The brakfast was a very rich Turkish breakfast, prepared properly by ladies. Kezban Hanim who works at the reception really runs the whole hotel providing a professional and a very friendly service to all the guests. We definitely felt ourselves at home. Compared to other hotels with same price and location, their price was way cheap. We will definitely choose Kortan otel in out future holidays.

Perfect!

It was behind of my expected. Very clean. Tip top. Room was large enough. So close to seaside and beach. I missed breakfast :-( and no idea how was it. very friendly stuff. Generally pretty good. You should watch to sunset on balcony in hotel. View was wonderful

Really good

The hotel was spotlessly clean . 
Generous Turkish breakfast was very nicely served on the top floor over looking to sea and tea was topped up without me having to ask, nice comfy bed and excellent view.  
Many restaurants and stores within short walking distance. 
Brilliant Staff attitude & Friendliness.
All aspects of this hotel were excellent. 
Superb  location.
Would definitely stay again.

"Fabulous hotel. A real gem"

Strangely, other reviewers seem to like it. We were there for 2 nights in July, and had a first floor room. The room was very run down, sheets with holes in them, grubby paintwork and a strong smell of mould in the room. The place looked like it was being run down prior to demolition.The corridor we were in had a strong open drain smell, like a toilet had overflowed in someones room. The room was facing the street and was very noisy, with a dirty little balcony looking onto a decrepid rooftop. The breakfast was very poor quality by Turkish standards, not particularly fresh and the room was very hot. In our 8 weeks travelling in Turkey this was the only hotel I would not recommend. Reception staff seemed to be there under sufferance, and I dont think anyone smiled for the time we were there.  However, the position is great and there are numerous good restaurants within a minutes walk.
