Beautuful small hotel in Ortakent straight in the beach, with own sun beds and umbrellas.  Very nice pool area, kind and helpfull staff. The place has also its own restaurant offering tasty local food, especially good is variety of meze and fish and sea food. In the evening tables are out on the beach where you can enjoy dinner with amazing view.
Love this place and would definitely come back!

Nice place to stay

Until this year the rooms were adequate but the bathroom facilities a tad tired and elderly. It appears they have been modernised and are much more up to date ! Far better !! The floors in the bedrooms are renewed as well- nice ! 
The hotel has a delightful pool and leisure area not to mention  a beach albeit a little one. 
The Proprietor couldn't be more obliging and helpful with a gang of young enthusiastic helpers.

Personal attention by the owner, great location on the beach with minuscule jetty, and a fabulously clean swimming pool.  This is by far the easiest way to transition from busy life to holiday life: flowers, laybeds, comfy big chairs to lounge in.  Borrow a room for the day to shower etc, its basic, but useful.

We spent just 1 night here following a week's cruise on a gulet. The cruise ended at the Hotel's jetty. It is a small, family run hotel; it may not be trendy or sophisticated but the family make one SO welcome that 1 night was not enough! The rooms are adequate and overlook the beautiful pool. The colourful  plants and flowers make for a very pleasant environment. Traditional Turkish breakfast and dinner are really tasty.

Friendly family hospitality

We stayed at Ilgin for two nights prior to an SCIC (fantastic) sailing holiday. It is a family run, family orientated hotel/restaurant.  As it was the end of the season, it was very quiet, which suited us.  The owner and his wife, plus the young man who was the only other staff member, were all absolutely welcoming and charm itself.  Yes, it IS basic  but the breakfasts are wonderful (we stayed on a B & B basis) and we did have lunches and dinners there also.  Nothing to complain about there. In fact, the food was tastier and much better value than anywhere else we visited.  The pool is gorgeous and kept very clean.  The sea is a few steps away, down a little pathway which is always cool.  A shingle beach with pebbles leading into the water.  The rooms are basic but it was a surprise to us that they did not provide a top sheet. Lovely cotton bottom sheet but a curious thick "throw" as a cover. (How many other people had it covered !!!)  Not too comfortable!  Our one complaint is that the lav (loo, toilet, WC or whatever you choose to call it) was a disgrace. It appeared not to have been cleaned in weeks.  We were in a different room on our return, and that loo was in an even worse state.  End of season it may have been, but that was totally unacceptable.  We will undoubtedly visit again - but will check out the bathrooms before accepting the room.

A little gem

The rooms are clean and comfortable .flat screen TV, headboard-less beds, ensuite bathroom, ,all just a tad basic. Very pleasant swimming-pool and lounging area, plenty of shade. The beach is mixed sand shingle but good for children. Lay-beds available on narrow  beach. .Check out the cruises on this hotel's gulets..fantastic holidays though SCIC Sailing.
