What's going on with all the negative comments about, the 3 brothers that own the Hotel Babadag. I.e. Tom, Billly, and Adam. 
They are some of the most friendly people I have ever met. They can't do enough for us.
We first went to the Hotel Babadag in 1999 with our children,and have done almost every year since.Now our children go with there children. 
There is no mistaking that the rooms are very basic, but we spend very little time in them. They are cleaned and tidy, we can't ask for more. 
The pool is 5 Star, one of the best and few pools in Hisaronu hotels, that you can swim length after length. No shallow end, but there is also a children's pool. 
The Food is first class, traditional Turkish  is available if you like at each lunch time, which I alway went for. 
With a new Chef for 2017, and didn't he do well. First class, even if you went for the basic menu or evening Menu, we didn't have a bad meal. We will be back next year, meeting all our friends we have run into over the years. 
For £12 a night a room,  that sleeps 3/4 people with breakfast. What more do you want. Breakfasts now includes eggs and meat, this always seam to be a problem to some reviewers. Look all get a grip, this is a fabulous little Hotel, you will not get cheaper, unless it's an hostel.

18 years at the Babadag 

New Years resolution is to write reviews on Trip Advisor so that is the reason for the delay in this review ! We stayed at Hotel Babadag in 2010, 2012 and 2014.  This hotel is a gem - run by three Brothers and their lovely Wives who will do anything for you. Stayed here once as a couple and other two occasions loved it so much we brought family and friends ! Hotel is clean and basic but exactly what you need - free breakfast is a Turkish breakfast so don't expect an English fryup - there are plenty of places to go for full English if that is what you want. In the three times we stayed we were not overcharged as some of the reviews mention. Hotel is on a hill so maybe not suitable for elderly or disabled but the staff are more than happy to call a taxi for you and you can get a taxi back from town quite easily.  We did eat lunch regularly at the hotel and the meals were great quality and excellent portions. The pool is one of my favourite pools from all holidays we have been on and is kept very clean - plenty of sunbeds, no need for towel reservation ! We are planning to come back very soon !

Home from Home !

Going back to the Bagadad  in September .Last year went twice but the first time there me and a friend didn't know what to expect having read the reviews but it was like going to friends in Turkey the staff and everyone who work there were some of the nicest people I have ever met .There are people who go every year but if you want to keep to yourself that's fine but we had a ball with the people who we met there .We also did not stay at the bar every night but the staff were not funny with us which some of the reviews have said.It is a lovely hotel basic but everything was there and the staff were so lovely and helpful  .Cannot wait to be there again .

Lovely Hotel Bagadad

if your looking for cheap and basic, this is the place for you, staff are lovely, rooms cleaned every day, nearby hisaronu were there are lot of bars and places to eatout at only 5-10 minutes away.i would recommed getting a taxi back only a couple of pounds.

family run hotel

very quiet relaxed welcoming hotel. Staff done everything I asked of them and nothing was too much. Ideal base camp for visiting nearby towns, Olduniz, Fethiye and hisanarou. We visited in early July last year and we are going back this July for another fortnight. Met some lovely people who had visited for years and only heard good reports. If you want a good day trip then I would advise the Dalman river trip to turtle beach and the mud baths. I would also advise to say no to the photographer for photos on a CD as this is not good value for money however a polite no is always accepted. I would also say must is to visit the markets as they do have excellent deals as long as you barter with them.At the hotel the turkish breakfast is very basic however if you have a walk out then you can get a full english for 9 lira. All in all a very lovely hotel and staff and an excellent holiday can't wait until the 6th of July to return
