Pros- Lovely hotel with nice aesthetics, clean room and bathroom. Lovely terrace views.
Good hospitality from staff members
Nice breakfast, lots of choices for food.

Cons- night time staff member who doubles up as bar man spent full night blasting music till 6am. This was heard in the room and my partner and I could not sleep throughout. Pillows could be comfortable.

We had three rooms at the hotel. I booked a double for us and a twin for our teenage children. My brother and his wife booked their own double and we all booked direct with the owners rather than through a website or agency. Absolutely every interaction we had with brother and sister owners, Hunkar and Merve, was a pleasure. Considering they do everything themselves I was amazed at their responsiveness and they were always so effusive and polite as well as incredibly helpful. 
I messaged lots as my daughter has food allergies and I wanted to book activities. They arranged special food for each morning for my daughter which was incredibly kind as it’s really difficult to get gluten and dairy free food in Goreme. 
The rooms are really quirky and unique and we appreciated the big bottles of water and the early check-in. 
Breakfast needs a special mention though as it was amazing with the best views. Merve is an incredible baker and each morning we found a new, delicious cake as part of the menu.
We all absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely recommend it, most especially for the genuine and heartfelt welcoming atmosphere provided by Merve and Hunkar!

Wonderful family-run gem!

 Really quirky. Comfortable, has everything you need. From the roof terrace there is an excellent view of the balloon takeoff!! Staff, especially Meve were helpful and professional and couldn’t do any more to improve on a perfect stay!!

My money got stolen over $2400 american dollars plus over 10k in Turkish money! From my bag..clerk went in and stoled it!! Stay away from this hotel! Bunch of crooks.. management never resolved anything! No cameras, no security! Even clerk Carrie’s a knife..

CROOKS THEIFS - stay away

When I was in Cappadocia, I was staying at five different hotels, and Şato was the best one. Firstly, I want to thank Merve for her outstanding room decorating skills. One day, it was my wife's birthday. While we were having breakfast, Merve spent 40 minutes decorating the room with lots of balloons, candles, and petals arranged on the floor in the shape of hearts. She even prepared a plate full of fruits and bought a delicious cake. It was definitely the best day in Cappadocia! We had an amazing room! It looked like a spacious cave with a comfortable round bed, stable internet, and a fascinating breakfast! I don't think there is any hotel in Göreme that offers such a range of facilities and a rich meal at the same time. I strongly recommend this place!

The best hotel in Cappadocia!

If i could give 0 stars i would. I’ve travelled in many countries and i’ve stayed in all kind of hotels but until now i’ve never encounter a more rude manager/ owner.  We booked a room on booking based from the pictures they have. When we arrived was an extra bed added to the room tgat was not looking nice. We asked to change the room and agreed to pay 30€ difference. All good till now. Just to mention we just sleept in that room and moring we moved to new room. Now let’s start. The room is nice but nothing more. The rood to the hotel was a challeng as they working is very unsafe to walk on. From the other reviews daten 2 month ago i’ve seen works in the area but never thought was so bad. Also no water hot/ cold in the room as the workers apparently broke the pipe. Workers working in morning from 8 so if you come for relax like us this is not the place. Also the staff was very chatty in a moring around 5am in front of our room waking me . I’ve txt the owner to give the feedback as i m not the type to write bad reviews and belive in another chance. A simple i’m sorry would do but the owner was really rude! Also saying i’ve made his sync dirty with i don’t know what liquid. Really. I just slept in the night didn’t even took a shower.  And on top of all this disconfort they still charge you full price and still his the one upset for the feedback . But hey how he said is government work. But hey at leat you could inform us and if we wanted to stay there was our choise. I would never reccomend them. Last time i’ve stayed at Erenbey Cave and they actualy know what profesional means. And not the least there were no ballons flights as they were cancelled the last two days. So another lie

Second time we come and this place is the best spot one can find. Amazing services, crazy beautiful room. What a gem!! Nice shower, cave room. What a breakfast. We felt sooooo blessed. The view from everyehere was nice.

Sato Cave boutique hotel is perfect for your stay in Cappadocia. The ultimate luxury and authentic but modern cave hotel at excellent value.

You have an instant sense of calmness each time you enter this divine hotel. We originally booked for three nights and ended up staying two weeks. It was a magical location to work for those that needed to whilst travelling.

We were fortunate to stay in rooms 2, 3 & 5, and they were all pure luxury and cosy, heavenly linen and beds guaranteeing you a peaceful and tranquil sleep each night.

Room 5 is a must if you want to treat yourself to magical valley views whilst soaking in a bathtub.

We loved that there were no TVs in the rooms, making the most of this unique and beautiful destination.

The location is excellent in the heart of Goreme and easy walk to everywhere. You are perched upon the rise and high enough for views over the valley, ideal for watching the incredible morning balloon flights.

The breakfast is mindblowing, the full Turkish spread and delicious. We loved that there was no wastage, as all uneaten food was cleaned and distributed to those less fortunate in the community.

The lovely team is more than happy to prepare fresh fruit accompanied by yoghurt to start your day for those who are a little more health-conscious.

Hunker, Ahmet and the lovely team made you feel at home and very welcoming, full of smiles and positive energy each day. A special thank you for taking care of us for two weeks and organising our horse riding and ballooning, and making our lives so easy to experience the true essence of beautiful Kapadokya.

The price/quality ratio is good. Rooms are clean and nice. Breakfast and view is amazing. Location is great. Staff is really helpful and friendly, especially Hunkar (one of the co-owners), who gave us daily advice on trips and activities.

Great place, amazing service!

Tries hard  but fails to deliverv on  service quality. Hippy esque demeanor fails to deluver on customer needs with adsurb breakfast timings and a lack os staff flexibility ro accomodate tourists needs. Check your room first as whats displayed is not what is offered!  As high  as a baloon ride ! noisy rooms .
