This hotel is now called dokuzçeyrek, and this tripadvisor page needs updating.

Dokuzçeyrek is a beautiful hotel owned by a young guy from Istanbul called Ege. He runs the place with help of his friends and invites you to treat his space as your own home. Whilst we stayed it rained a few days and we had an enjoyable time just playing backgammon and playing some vinyl records we had picked up in istanbul.

Ege told us his breakfast was famous in the area and locals occasionally came to eat breakfast at his hotel. He was not wrong, It was definitely the best breakfast we had in 2 weeks in turkey. It was your tradiotional Turkish breakfast but made to absolute perfection. (Peppers, Tomatoes, Cucumber, Selection of cheeses, Home made Tangerine and Tomato honeys, fried egg all with a selection of breads)

After breakfast the walk to the beach is 5 minutes through Tangerine groves.

I arrived very late (23:00) and Bertan was sitting in the garden and called me by name as I arrived. That was a great start to a wonderful 4 night stay. 
The room was charming, not a typical hotel feel. I was exactly as pictured. Very comfortable, it felt very private. 
Turkish breakfast was fantastic! Each morning sitting in the garden was so delightful. And so interesting to study the eclectic and very charming decorating. 
It was just a short walk to the beach and art shops and beach dining. Just 5 minutes. And the many shuttles will drop or pick you up from the Otel. Each evening, I sat in the garden and listened to their music, I'm still missing the music. 

It was the perfect place to stay. I can't wait to return.

Great place, supplies you a very friendly, calm environment. It has a very central location in Gümüşlük. It has a very nice garden which I enjoyed most by starting the day enjoying breakfast or ending the day with a nice cocktail. Breakfast is very good.Very nice decoration, very nice managing people.

chance for a private stay up above the more anticipated beach lodgings. it was delightful to have a brand new look at gümüşlük's tapestry after years of visit.

very little flaws of cleanliness in the bathroom but let's blame the short notice before arrival..

Eclectic, relaxing and soooo charming!!

I have just stayed one night at this hotel, having booked 3 and cancelling the next two. I could not leave there fast enough. If I were 25 years younger, back packing in Asia and paid 10$ a night for this place I might have liked it .If I were totally blissed out, I might not have noticed it was a dump and liked it. 
I booked on the basis of all the glowing reviews on both Trip Advisor and bookings.com. yet having spent he past 35 years of my life travelling and living in hotels, I have seldom stayed in such a hovel! 
All the things the reviews make so much of were non  existent and the resemblance to the picture on the booking web site were minimal. I can not help but feel the owners have engineered their own reviews.
The room we stayed in, the basement room, was damp, smelling, tiny, electrical wiring that was dangerously out of this world, shower filthy, etc etc. I looked at some of the other rooms, and although they slightly more resembled the pictures on bookings. com, they were still basic, with dirty bathrooms.
The décor of the place was not tasteful, or eclectic, just full of junk.
The garden was full of half dead plants and weeds and debris that they were too lazy to maintain.
The  famed Turkish breakfast was vey colourful, with a chopping board full of  tomato cucumber, chilli and red pepper... two halves of walnut, two halves of dried apricot and a few pieces of cheese.... but not so much that one would actually EAT! We were , after the event, asked to pay extra for the coffee we had with breakfast.. apparently it only came with tea!
There were virtually no staff there the time we stayed, mid afternoon a note was left on the bar to some new arrivals, informing that staff had gone to Bodrum and would be back .at 19.00. They were not .
All in all, I felt it was a dump, staffed by people who really could not be bothered to do anything not even be there! For what we received it was overpriced, one does not pay to stay in a hotel to befriend the staff , they are there to run the place ... and then be pleasant!
All in all.. BEWARE if you are thinking of booking this hotel.... it is not like the reviews and the rooms are not like the picutures
