These apartments are the worst we have ever stayed in, it was rated 3 star plus by Jet 2, well i don't know where they got that rating from.

The room were disgusting, the shower was falling apart, the floor in the shower cubical was like standing on broken glass, the grout was like it had just been thrown on the floor.

The pool area was a danger, the grills around the pool edge was broken and not even, there was an accident when we was there, a young child caught her foot on the broken pool grill and cut her foot open. The blood was still left around the pool area and on the steps leading up to the apartments until the next day and was only cleaned up when i raised it with the Jet 2 rep, appalling.

There was no one telling holiday makers about taking glass drinks around the pool area, there was people in the pool with glasses of beer on the side, on one occasion when glass was broken and ended up in the pool, hotel staff did nothing about it and left it to the holiday makers to clean it up and make sure the pool was safe to go into.
There was signs about drinking around the pool and not to have glass drinks but on not one occasion did any member of the hotel staff enforce this.  

STAY AWAY FROM THESE APARTMENTS, THEY ARE DISGUSTING !!!

Worst stay in Turkey !

This place is disgusting. The apartments are dated and had wires hanging down from ceiling. Stickers on windows for flies, all dead flies on them never changed. 
The cutlery drawer had hair in it. Not cleaned. 
We had someone smash a bottle which went on our balcony and all on the floor outside manger knew but didn’t think to tell the cleaner. Cleaner swept our balcony but not the floor outside where people were walking to the pool. I had to tell the rep. Who then got it cleaned.  Someone cut their foot blood all up stairs again not cleaned until we told the rep.
We complained to Jet 2 rep about the apartment to be told that they don’t check the apartments only the facilities. There were broken sun beds under the water slide. 
The chef was creepy around women and rarely changed his clothes. 
Staff were rude maybe as didn’t like it we complained. 
Offered us air con at half price because of us complaining. No thank you. 
Never stayed in such disgusting apartments and would not recommend this place.

Avoid these apartments

I have had the pleasure of staying at Efem Apartments twice this year, and I can’t say enough about the incredible experience. 
The hotel itself is in beautiful surroundings, with comfortable rooms, great amenities, a beautiful well tended pool, and the most warm, welcoming staff you could ever ask for. 

The highlight of my stay was without a doubt the feeling of being part of the family, nothing is too much trouble for the wonderful staff, from the owner, to the lovely housekeeper Selma and her team,  they are all truly lovely people. 

Although the rooms are well equipped for self catering, the food provided by chef Apo is not to be missed, you can truly tell that chef has great talent and takes great pride in his work, the care that he takes to ensure that you are well fed was evident in every bite. 
Aside from his delicious food chefs smile is guaranteed to brighten your day nearly as much as the sunshine!

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who values kind, warm, caring, honest staff, and great food. I’ll definitely be back, as soon as I am able.

Fabulous experience, when can I come back??

Dirty hotel

Firstly, I believe the photographs on the Jet2 website are fairly old - you can tell by the height of the palms trees in front of the right hand block. The apartment interior is  now looking tired and grubby, needing a deep clean and a coat of paint. The sofa bed, bedroom mattress and pillows are all stained and should be replaced. We arrived in the early afternoon and were shown to our one bedroom apartment and honestly thought it was a different complex!!

The "self-catering" facilities were basic beyond belief. 1 fork in the drawer for 3 adults was a laugh anyway. The kitchen worktop was still dirty from the previous inmates and the toaster was caked with old crumbs. Fridge was dirty and rusted at the bottom. Huge saucepans for a tiny hotplate was never going to work. The bathroom stank of dirty drains. Each time you flushed the toilet, the smell would waft up through the shower drainage slot, a plumber should take a look at this because there was clearly a blockage. The air conditioning wasn't very effective and I would guess it needs re-gassing?

We never used the pool or the bar because it was just too noisy and many people had put their towels on the best positioned sunbeds anyway. We felt that we were treated like 2nd class guests because we didn't spend any money at the bar. Icmeler beach is a short walk with lots of free sunbeds and even showers. At night the noise ramps up by several levels, making it impossible to sit outside on your balcony or get some sleep, this carried on until 1am or so. Guests returning to their rooms weren't considerate - slamming doors, shouting, arguing and even heard someone crying at around 3am. 

After putting up with this for 3 nights, we decided to cut our losses and find alternative accommodation. We were exhausted by now, as you can imagine. Thankfully, we had hired a car locally and drove to our new digs. The funny thing was when we left, leaving our key at the bar - NO ONE said a word. Maybe they are used to people making a break for it? It's nothing more than a flophouse.

The rest of the holiday was great. Icmeler is a lovely clean resort with friendly people and some excellent eating places. We wished however, that we took note of the negative reviews and booked somewhere else to begin with.

Endured 3 nights and quit.

Lovely place to stay food is excellent made by the best chef abdullah very nice man will do anything for you n make you welcome as do all the staff , they do a barbecue night ,live football shown on the tele ,bingo daily ,a slide for the children,highly recommended will definitely be back

Efem aparmen

The apartment was tidy, not much kitchen utensils only 1 glass 1 mug and 1 plastic cup to drink from in our room. Also if you like dark gloomy rooms then 104 is the room for you. This room was the worst room in the apartments as we can gather as it was down a ramp below ground level.   Our terrace area was dark never had any sun and we faced tree stumps and broken sunbeds, we just called it our dungeon we couldn't have our curtains open as anyone can walk passed and see everything in our rooms including our bedroom. This is all the negatives so as you can gather we didn't spend much time in the room with having no TV no view. The pool area, slide and bar were nice and food nice the staff were friendly too. It was just the room we were in, this room should not be used, used as a big store room but not to stay in

Not too bad but room 104 was dark and gloomy

It wasn't all bad but I was glad to get home in the end.

The good:- The pool area is brilliant. Spotless. Bar area great and the staff are awesome. The slide is operational on 2x separate occasions so this is good for adults and children. Great idea this. Location is good with regards to getting into the town center. This is a 5 minute walk. I liked the interaction the owners had with each person. Nice personal touch.

The bad:- Not the hotels fault, but the block that I was in has a farm right behind the rooms. So every single morning between 3.30am and 6.30am, the farms cockerel decides to keep us up. Then to rub salt into wounds, the neighbours dog likes to bark for up to 20 hours a day, on and off. So was unable to get more than 4 hours sleep, at best, due to the animal noises. 
Then, 1st impressions on the room were good. Looked big, 2x air conditioning units and looked clean. But the room was not cleaned properly through the whole 2 week stay. Sometimes the maid would be making palm tree patterns on the bedding with the towels. Then other days, we would only get the bin emptied. Thus leaving us with no clean towels to use at all. We are not lazy and made our bed every day. But sometimes, the bedding was dirty due to things like sand from the beach etc, but the maid just left the bed as is. 
Seemed like there were toilet roll rations, as we had to keep asking for more than 1x toilet roll to be left for 5 people. In the end we resulted in leaving a note for the maid. This did resolve this issue, but we felt rude in having to do this. We could tell that the room was not cleaned properly because when we did the final sweep of the rooms to make sure we did not leave anything, we started to find previous peoples items like stray socks under beds. This is clearly an improvement opportunity. 
I would be happy to return to this property, but just cant risk it because if you are in the block by the farm, you have had it regarding sleep. So unfortunately, I wont return to this property.

Beware of the farm animals behind the hotel.

Very basic apartments,  poor cooking facilities,  bar and restaurant quite pricey,  we noticed a lot of non resident people coming in drinking at bar all day and using swimming pool,  once drinks in wits are out,  on pool party night no health and safety,  one girl had to much to drink and tried to slide down water slide standing up resulting on her seriously banging her head on btm of slide.

Been going to Efem for several years now and Onur & Salma can’t do enough for you. Rooms are basic but clean and pool / dining area are immaculate also. Restaurant provides good food and the Chef Abdullah is a top quality chef who knows how to please with great looking and tasting food. Will always go back.
