I visited Istanbul from 26.07 to 30.07.21 for business trip and were staying in Fimka hotel. This hotel has very good location for trip like my cos it is located directly in the area of ​​wholesale shops and also not far from the main attractions. Hotel is not new but after renovation. The price per day per person cannot but please $ 25 and breakfast is included.There  is water in the minibar and you can make tea or coffee as a compliment from hotel. Every day room was cleaned. You can book dinner for pleasure price if you don’t want go out. We didn’t eat dinner at the hotel cos there are a lot of different restaurants in this location.
the staff is attentive and helped us with all questions. We were satisfied with this hotel and can recommend for short and business trip.

Perfect location for my business trip

This is not a hotel for tourists, it is just a place for "entrepreneurs" who come to Istanbul to buy clothes to spend the night. The location is near the main historical attractions, 10 minutes walk to the Bazar and 20 minutes to the Mosques, but the nearest Havaist station to go to the IGA airport means walking for 10 minutes on narrow streets with no sidewalks. While at some point the rooms were renovated, they are not able to clean them properly. This is actually one of the first things we asked when we checked in, to have the bathroom cleaned. You can hear every noise from the hallway, so for us staying at the second floor was a nightmare, as we could hear all the people returning in the evening at the hotel and the breakfast preparation early in the morning. When we complained at the reception, we were told that a group of tourist was making the noise. Breakfast is a big joke and if you want to take it around 9 o'clock, good luck finding something to eat. The elevator is in the clothes shop near the hotel. When we checked in we were asked to leave all the passports at the reception. We only received them back after paying in advance, even though the reservation was done via booking and all the payment details were given in advance. This seems to be a common practice at this hotel, as they had quite a lot of passports. The only good thing that I can mention is the wifi connection.

A big NO

I would give 0 stars but seems like is not possible. 
(+): 
- the location is good- you can walk for 15-20 minutes to the most important places in turist side of Istanbul. In the same time the location is on a commercial area of Istanbul which can be very annoying. This is not a turist hotel. most of the people are buyers from various countries who travels to Istanbul to buy clothes en-gros. Usually on the evening the streets are like huge garbage bins. Try to walk on main streets otherwise you will be shocked. 
- 2 persons at reception are quite nice and try to help you, but when we had some requests they started to say that they do not understand english ( this happened everywhere)

- when we arrived we gave our passports and after we had to pay in full to receive them back on the first day. In Instabul is wise to have your passport with you since the police is stopping people on the street to identify them.
- the room was not clean so we requested at least the bathroom to be cleaned. off course they just put some detergent on the toilet and that was the cleaning process. It's not nice to see "marks"on the toilet when the bathroom door is opened for the first time. 
- any request made on booking was not respected. we had only one. to have the room on an upper floor. While they do not speak english it's impossible to explain them what request was made on booking.com
- noise. people in Turkey are very loud. on the second night around 12:30 I was wake-up by a discussion or argument between some people who continued until 4:00 am. When I asked in the morning what the hell happened off course: "Sorry I do not understand english". Also there is not noise protection on that hotel so you can hear whatever you want or not ( just to mention that I'm not a bat, I'm a normal guy) 
- breakfast- photos attached. the place where the breakfast is served is called: Fitness, Spa and restaurant... that Turkish customer service that we all know is not there. the breakfast was very poor and quite not eatable on the 3rd morning. the tables are not clean. everything was sticky on the table. I forced myself to drink that coffee, but I stopped on the 3rd morning. the orange juice is not orange juice. 
- the access to the elevator is done via their shop so you might have to carry your luggage to the first floor from where to take the elevator. 
- Storage room- on the lobby. So if you want to let your bags somewhere on the last day if you have an afternoon flight, you will be invited to let them on the lobby/stairs. 
- I was asked by some random people at the reception, I believe (hope) that they were from the hotel, when we have our check-out without any reasons. 
To access the hotel from the bus station to airport means to carry your luggage through various streets most of the time blocked by cars and you will have to walk on the middle of the streets most of the time, trying to avoid the cars. 
Overall the experience was not pleasant and I'm surprised to see the reviews on booking.com for this hotel.

Very bad experience

I found it very nice. Good location , nice rooms and clean. I will use it in my future visits in Istanbul. The hotel personel are frendly and helpfull.The breakfast is sufficient but it can be improved a bit more.
