The good thing about the hotel is the service. Great help and always kind for example a young man name Juan, great guy. Aside from that I think it would make the whole experience so much better, an elevator more bathrooms, etc.

Good service

My friend and I were in a standard room for two we did not expect a luxury hotel - we knew we got to the hostel.
We chose the room  that the toilet and shower are outside the room -
The room was fourth floor and inside it we had a bed and a closet and we did not need more than that. ( the room was clean!)
We stayed two nights and were hardly in a hostel -but  in the short time we were in the hostel': as always we were greeted with a big smile from the owner!
We asked the owner of the hostel about  several places we wanted to see and she immediately brought us a map and were checking the internet about  hours and prices... We followed her suggestion and enjoyed every minute. The atmosphere was cozy hostel - young people from around the world, not crowded and not noisy (not at night or in the morning)

Thanks again and waiting to come at summer to your other hostel- Reflection ( if i remember well)

The Chillout is just a classic budget hostel, as you know from many places (no luxury at all, but beds are fine to sleep in and toilets + showers are most time clean), but additionally it got the absolute perfect location in the middle of Beyoglu, close to Galata Tower, Istiklal Cadessi and Taksim Square, very friendly, helpful and good English-speaking staff and a nice atmosphere for hanging out at the entrance of the hostel. Good food is offered by request.

Classic  with extras

Even though the staff are friendly and the location is great  (for those who like istiklal street) I was severely bitten by insects what the receptionist told me could be bed bugs :S 

I had a private room with a bathroom not staying in the shared rooms. It's for backpackers who don't mind taking the risk

as far as I learned this is the first chill out hostel in Istanbul. After whole confusing chill out names, I think the shroud switch the name because it is not related to what it was years ago.

Now it's a clean, well organized and good value for money hostel at the heart of Istiklal. Staff helped me a lot, and we had perfect time at the lobby. I have discovered the life floor, which is actually the sixth floor where u can cooks d drink and enjoy the hospitality of the manager. We had a short movie nite at the terrace. It was unexpected and good. 

If you are looking for a sterile hostel where u only sleep well, please try somewhere else, this hostel should host the real travelers, who know to communicate 
.

I would suggest the hostel to any real traveller.
