Very nice place, very friendly staff, and great location, it was near the shops and the grand bazaar, you could shop and after you could go and leave all your bags to the room and enjoy the site seeing. Also the owner was very friendly and helpful l.

Best location

No matter what anyone says, this small hotel is one of the best choices in terms of value for money. Of course, you can also choose five-star hotels, but don't expect services of this level. The staff is nice and friendly, they organized many things for us, like Kylos beach by bus, taxi to the airport and I could list more. They can speak english, but in limited level. Who cares if there is google translator to Turkish? I also use this if they not understand exactly what I like to tell them :) Yes, this hotel very close the sewing and hand manufacturing shops (you can feel the city heartbeat), but they finished their work around 23:00pm. But instead of staying at the hotel, why you are not walking in that time? Our room was clean, a bit small, but I went there to visit the city, not just to sleep. I am sure that if I go to Istanbul again, I will return to this hotel.

Pearl in the heart of the city Istanbul

Pearl hotel is almost in the center, very pleasant and helpfull staff, the owners are so friendly involved in every single detail of Your comfort, healthy break fast, clean and neat rooms, what you pay is less worth than what you Get.
I strongly recommand pearl hotel.

Very pleasant

Terrible!!!! The owner is very rude and the room was horrible! Dirty and filthy! The towels had holes, the bed was broken and our curtain was hanging. The last day there my moms shirt was ruined because of the chlorine that the maid put on the sink and she never wiped it off! 
The pictures are misleading.

TERRIBLE

The Pearl Hotel is very nice. I have stayed there 7 nights together with my brother, enjoyed the time spent . Staff is very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was good. Rooms are clean and quiet. Very Nice location with an interesting price, i love this Hotel and will comeback to it soon ✌️

Lovely Hotel

They were very nice at the front desk and it was in a good area for visitors since there was lots going on in the area. The room was small but reasonably clean.  No extra amenities. Couldn't get the TV to work.

Decent hotel - Pearl

Pearl Hotel location is very good, it is situated in the old city in Istanbul, very close to Grand Bazaar. To get to the main street in the old city one needs to walk up the hill. It's a short walk, and I didn't mind it, but can imagine that it could potentially be a problem for someone with health issues. Hotel is small (boutique style). Staff was trying to be helpful, but unfortunately they don't really speak English except a few basic words and I am not speaking Turkish. Room was on the top floor, very bright, bathroom was very good, seemed recently renovated. It wasn't as clean as it could have been, but not bad either.Room cleaning was a bit strange - there would be no floor swiping, or changing the linen, or adding toilet paper to the bathroom, but they would tidy up our personal stuff (clothes and other things) which I found a bit awkward. After we had to stay for a couple of extra days and extended our stay online  they were trying to charge us extra, which is not nice (we didn't pay but anyway). Altogether, it was okay, and I would recommend this place if location is important to you however, in case you are looking for good service and hotel stay matters it's probably better to look somewhere else.

All about location

i stayed there in August from 4th to 6th... althought my actual cheack out date was 7th... the staff is friendly but..the rooms are not clean.. the walls and tv is dusty. the worst is the air conditioner.. it is breezind dirty hair... the beakfast is ok but  the accommodation is not easy to reach... and with the  air conditioner breezind dirty air, it becoes so hard t  stay here even if it is cheap..

Small hotel, central location. Friendly staff who do their best to try to understand you and help you out but do not seem to understand English very well.
The hotel is located across a sewing workshop. You will hear the sewing machines accompanied by music until 22:00 during weekdays. After that they either start packing stuff or put stuff in a large truck. Anyway, be prepared to be disturbed by these activities until 23:00 or so. 
The room we had was small, and worn. Mold on the ceiling of the sleeping area and mold on the ceiling of the shower. Bits and pieces missing from the furniture.
Breakfast is ok.
Although it is not expensive, I will not stay here again. Since public transport is very cheap in Istanbul, the central location which might have been the unique selling point for this hotel loses its value.
