The apartment was clean and well located, which we really appreciate but it was not easy to find the floor which was not indicated to us even when we called the 24/24 service, an incorrect floor was communicated to us. Unfortunately it was impossible to connect to local TV channels and streaming platforms. In addition, there was no toilet paper which we reported on the first day and had to buy ourselves plus the toilet seat was broken. 

Compliqué à trouver et pas de véritable interlocuteur si problème...

We have enjoyed our stay at Galata Flats. Their services were top notch. If you are going to Istanbul by car or you think about renting one, there's a private parking place behind the hotel. There's a subway station exactly next to the hotel also. Galata Tower and Taksim Square are very close to it. 

Great weekend in Istanbul

I stayed at Galata Flats for three nights with three other friends and we created some of our best mutual memories here, in this hotel.
The front man, Ibrahim, was very polite and welcoming and was helpful throughout our stay. The suite had 2 bedrooms (one master bedroom), an equipped pantry (with basic cooking dishes and pans, a cozy and spacious sitting room (for 4), another bathroom/shower (with laundry machine), free wi-fi, and lots of closets to put our stuff in them.
The suite was very clean and very comfortable (cleaning person comes every other day), with a nice view of Galata Tower from the master bedroom and the sitting room.
The hotel is in close walking distance from Sishane metro station and for tramway you can go down the Galata neighborhood and catch Karakoy station on the Goden Horn bridge.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Galata Flats and definitely recommend it to others.

Clean, Comfortable, Good Location

The apartment was fantastic in terms of cleanliness, comfort and location is excellent and the views fantastic and the price of the apartment is good for three rooms and a large lounge, two bathrooms, fitted kitchen, balcony fantastic contain grill and a table and chairs, the apartment can accommodate more than 9 people comfortably, and will go back live out again

Good residence

The promised Wi-Fi worked only part of the time and when it did work it crashed every 5 or 10 minutes requiring a new log in.  Several power outages in our apartment were blamed on a general power outage by staff but the lights in the lobby and on the street were not out. The bed was very uncomfortable with a crater in the center.  Overall not a good experience.

Excellent location but not up to par and won't stay again

I posted this also on Expedia, but figured it would be helpful to many people here too:

This is a good apartment in the middle of a very busy area. The light rail station is right next door. That is important because it is on a one-way street and getting there by car takes a lot of time (and can be an adventure given how they drive there).

There are two coffee places right next door as well which made for good mornings. The busy Isteklal street is a few steps away for some great dining. My stay was comfortable though this is in no way a 4-star place. I would give it a 3.

Staff was great and very helpful. I would recommend this place for larger families staying for an extended period as it has a full kitchen and separate living areas with a sofa bed.

Very Busy Area

I was travelling with my extended family - 7 adults and 2 young children, and we needed an apartment that can accommodate all of us. 
When I selected this apartment, our main criteria were: washing machine, kitchen, more than one bathroom and near public transport. Galata Flats met all our needs.
While the apartment was quite compact, it was well equipped with a mini supermarket nearby for us to stock up. Istiklal Caddesi was just a few minutes up a set of stairs, and so were the entrance to the funicular. Right outside the apartment is entrance to Sishane metro stop.
We had an apartment with a balcony so my nephews had a wonderful time playing with their spinning tops outdoors.
Highly recommended.
