No. 10 is located bang on the Taksim Square, its a nice cozy service apartment. We were travelling as couple and had to spend more time seeing Istanbul, hence we picked this hotel which is a budget accommodation. Getting around to any part of Istanbul is super easy from here. The owner was helpful, but you will have to carry your luggage on your own, Its a house converted into service apartment. The help doesnt understand any other language except local. But very nice and helpful lady. The apartment is inside a small row hence you get lot of local grocery shops from where we bought starwberries and local fruits and sweets which you generally dont get in a place bustling with tourists. Because of the location of No. 10 we were able to explore the local streets till wee hours and roam around at the Taksim square at 2 in the night and have coffee looking at the beauty and the feel of the place. So, if you are out for travelling this is the place , Better avoid with kids as the room size is too small. Overall a good place for people who love to travel like locals.

Good service apartment

The last time we came to Istanbul we stayed at Grand Yavuz hotel in Sultanahmet, which was tiny. But that's typical of hotels on the old side of the city. This time we were smart enough to stay in Taksim. We'd take a taxi to Sultanahmet for the day and return at night to change, go to dinner and have drinks. The room was amazing, 50 square meters!!! And the owner was incredibly nice and attentive.

Awesome place!

We really enjoyed our stay at No10 Taksim Studio. The location is great, only a couple of minutes walk from Istiklal street, Taksim square and park, and metro station. The studio was fully equipped, appliances and all. It isn't very spacious, but it's cozy and clean. 
The owner mailed me right after booking, and since the studio is on a small street, they arranged to meet us so they could lead us to the place. Also, it wasn't a problem to check in or out before or after the stated time.
There is no reception, but the staff are available all the time for everything that you need. Also, there is no breakfast option. 
The most negative thing was that the bathroom was really small. 
All in all, very good value for money.

Cozy studio, good value for money

Good location. Very short walk to the train station which takes you everywhere. also close to a lot of great shops and restaurants. Warm room.
100s of tv stations but only 1-2 in English.
Nice owner who came over when I needed some help with the heater promptly.
No reception as apparently a temporary tenant was occupying it as a living space. It would have been nice to have somewhere to go to get information and ask questions to help navigate my way through Istanbul. It was advertised when I booked as having a reception. I was somewhat confused when I arrived and another visitor who was finishing his stay (Spanish man) greeted me and called an employee who arrived 5 minutes latter and let me into my room. It seemed to be luck that I bumped into these people to be let into my room. Lucky given it was 1 degree when I arrived!
Even with the shower door closed properly the whole bathroom flooded and the bathroom was a touch on the small side. It would have been nice to have some tea bags in the room when I arrived or even a little map to navigate my way to the local corner shop.
It probably wouldn't be my first choice if I went back but wasn't bad.


Good location

Good value for money, clean room, helpful staff, good location (really close to Taksim square, metro station, easy to move).
Bad points: tiny shower, neighborhood not "friendly" to go around after it gets dark. 
Tip: choose the apartments inside the building: it feels safer and more silent.
