Small, good adapted hotel, good owners, clean bathroom but bad furniture... not beautifull view....quiet for location and safe in small, narow streat, near to Taksim... walking distance... but not to comfortable...staff ok

I arrived with valid voucher expedia reservation no. 7172223650626  which stated 'your reservation is booked. no need to call us to reconfirm this hotel' when i arrived the hotel has the Name Ar Suites all over the hotel, but the hotel tells you that the hotel is no longer trading and my hotel reservation isnt valid and need to find alternative accommodation, (it was a Friday night when most hotel I found were full). The unhelpful staff (name Salih) which I doubt was his real name wasnt interested in checking their reservation list or expedia to see what when wrong. Or assist with an alternative. I contact expedia, They gave me the sad standard excuse of 'We apologise for the inconvenience caused'. from racha, then another email from Manish   saying "We have contacted Ar Suites Taksim and they stated that there hotel name has been changed and they are no more linked up with Expedia" ,I also checked their UK website which was still representing the hotel and if you check today on expedia is still doing so (I put the 3rd to the 6th Feb in the system). After the 9th hotel  I had found a place to stay but of course hotels charge as much as they can for last minute bookings. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS HOTEL

this hotel is running a scam

WARNING:
****Under new management, on arrival we were told if we had prepaid then we could not stay as there is new management, fortunately we did not prepay and were allowed to stay.****
There was no breakfast, new management say they don't include! No TV in room, and obviously therefore no premium channels and also no coffee or tea making in room.
Just to add the room is filthy and we have the last guests food in the fridge, frankly we didn't even feel safe at this hotel.
The room was not being made up and towels not replaced, we returned at night and had to use the towels we left in the shower wet.
The safe did not work and is not even fixed, if it did work anymore could pick the whole thing up and walk out with it.
Of 9 lightbulbs in the room, only one is working. The shower was broken and water to toilet turned off as it overflowed if left on so we had to turn water off after each use.
This hotel is a complete disgrace and the management are not concerned with us at all

This place makes faulty tower look great.

Yesterday we arrived at the hotel and SURPRISE they didn't have the reservation anymore since they changed the administration (without sending any e-mail before?). They tried after that to put us on another room hugely more expensive (and we had already paid month's before!!!) that was stinking like a WC, careless, unclean!!! I should have call the policy!!! SHAME! 

RUN AWAY ITS A FRODE

The hotel was old and no renovation has been made for several years . Beside that it has a very good location in Taksim Square , although it wasn't on the main street i found it easily . We booked 4 rooms and stayed for 3 nights. In some rooms the showers didn't function properly . Elevator had problems very often . The manager was very nice and helpful . Other workers barely speak any English . It is very cheap and centrally located
