It was easy to get a bus from the Ataturk airport to taksim square and the hotel is just 200 feet from the bus station and the road were good and easy for a trolley duffel, the check in time were less than 5 min and they were good staff, the room were small and seems bit old fashion but anyway i saw the picx before i book it so no surprises and the room were clean and the bathroom too only the A/C was little bit noisy but the street noise were higher.

Fox Review

Run by local people, the Seref Hotel has a kind of charme, but to relax after a sightseeing day in Istanbul it is the totally wrong place. Seref is located at Talabarsi Blv - a never sleeping car and bus run in Beyoglu. Sleeping with open window is impossible. Closed window means to breath unfresh air, but that of course is the better solution. The small bathroom is a pleace to feel uneasy because of the worn facilities and the stench soaring up the draine pipe. So keep the bathroom door closed too :) The french bed was quite ok and the heating worked well, what was important in March. Besides the room was decorated quite charming. But this first impression - we arrived after sunset in the evening - changed quikly next morning, when we looked in detail. Black areas were to see under the wallpaper, seemingly mould. A pro of course is the upper floor for breakfast providing a great view to the skyline of Istanbul. The food is in comparison very basic, in line with Serefs standard. The near of Istiklal Cad, Istanbuls main road for nightlife and shopping is only five minutes away by foot, was in our favor too. But you can find better places in this area to enjoy the atmosphere of this lively district and to have a room for relaxing and wellbeeing.

The service was immediate and thorough.  The room was very nice all though small.  The hotel’s location was on a main street with a very lively center, with many restaurants and stores, behind the hotel.  The hotel was also adjacent to the popular area of Taxim.  Though a minor complaint, the smallness of the room is the only detracting factor.  Overall the room however was more than acceptable.

I stayed 1 week in seref hotel and it s a very nice place to stay. The hotel is located near the galata tower and the main shopping walking street. The room was very clean. Wifi in all room was very appreciated. The staff and the owner are very kind and helpful. The breakfast was diversified with a wide city view from the restaurant.
I was very happy to stay in this hotel. I recommand it greatly.

Very good location, good value,nice clean room n other places in the property,good enough B.fast.all the shopping and worth seeing places close by.Friendly staff.not to forget Mr.Farhad n Mr.Izzat a talented Hotel partner.
