I was completely unsatisfied and quickly changed my hotel after one day. The photos were different from reality, and the location on the map didn’t match the real one. The website says it’s a 4-star hotel on edream App but I didn’t see the stars when I arrived. In my opinion, first and foremost, the description needs to be honest. I'm sorry, but it was a terrible experience.

Terrible

Avoid at all costs! It's a very basic hotel, definitively not a 4 stars hotel. Rooms are old dated, small, mattresses very uncomfy and the breakfast was horrible, we couldn't eat it, even the coffee was awful. Only good thing is the location.


Awful hotel

Place to avoid! Sleazy and dilapidated. I purchased a flight+hotel package, paying for one double room with a city view and one family room with a limited view. Upon arrival, I found a family room in the basement with no window and a double room on the first floor with a wall of worn-out, non-darkening curtains! I asked to pay for a room, and the hotel manager (because I am a woman!) wouldn’t even address me. He kept repeating that everything was full when Booking showed available rooms!! In less than half an hour, we fled to another establishment. Be cautious because this hotel is listed as 4 stars on EDreams! In reality, it’s at most a 1-star establishment!!

Place to avoid !!

The bathroom was quite small, making it a challenge to move around and even close the door comfortably. The shower was also quite cramped. Additionally, there was a noticeable water leakage issue near the sink at the bottom. Housekeeping was a letdown. Our bedsheets weren't changed daily, and they even had holes in them. The towels provided were far from satisfactory, they appeared yellow and old. I was surprised to find no tea-making facilities in the room, which is typically a standard amenity in most hotels. After raising this concern, they did provide a kettle, but it was in poor condition – broken and unclean. When we plugged it in, it caused an electrical outage in the entire room. We booked a triple room for three adults, but it seemed a third bed was cramped into a two-bedroom. The breakfast offered was disappointingly limited. The only notable variety was in terms of cheese, which became repetitive quickly. Some of the food items seemed stale and unappetizing. The tea dispenser in the breakfast room was also inconveniently small and frequently ran out. This resulted in unnecessary waiting times, and on one occasion, even though the breakfast was supposed to end at 10:30 a.m., we were informed it was over at 10:20 a.m., which was rather frustrating. Basic facilities were lacking, and the overall value for the price paid was questionable. The rooms were not soundproof, and I could hear noise from the streets and neighbouring rooms, which disrupted my comfort and sleep.

Furthermore, one of the receptionists, especially around 10 pm, exhibited unprofessional behaviour and was overly flirtatious. This made for an uncomfortable experience. They really need to train their staff about professionalism.

I just check out from this hotel not good at all .. not clean the location not good between trash .. the staff rude they just want extra money

Today

A beautiful hotel with very comfortable rooms. The breakfast is excellent and includes a variety of healthy food choices. The hotel is also conveniently located close to the tram station, and the Grand Bazaar and several of the mosques are only a short walking distance away. Staff at the hotel are also very friendly and helpful, especially Mr Mücahit who was there to provide assistance since we arrived. He goes out of his way to be kind to guests and make their stay comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul.

Great hotel

Horrible Horrible Disgusting Hotel. Horrible staff and very unhelpful and rude manager. Rooms do not look like what they show in photos. The cleaner does not clean the rooms properly. I cleaned floor with a towel after the cleaner had been in (see photo).The curtains have stains all over them. horrible breakfast. Staff gets annoyed if you ask them for something. The first night i was given this room which was very small. It had 1 double bed and there was no space to move around the room. Room was freezing and mattress was broken. I spoke to staff and he said they were fully booked and that i can speak to manager in the morning. I didnt sleep and my mum was shivering. Next day manager offered me another room which was slightly bigger. Toilet seat was broken, head board was not secured against wall, damp on toilet ceiling, mouldy taps. I had no choice but to take the room. Next day i heard someone else complaining about their room being cold and too small. Next day i asked for an iron. Cleaner gave me an iron and it had all naked wires and all the copper wires were sticking out. I called down to reception where the manager answered. I told him iron was dangerous and i could not use it. He got angry and told me there is no other iron and hung phone up. I spend the next 10 days ironing my clothes with my hair straighteners. The rooms do not have kettle. If you call to ask for hot water they either forget or get annoyed. My mum has back problems and is not very mobile. The breakfast is served in the basement with no access to lift. I first asked the staff member for an omlette and she said its extra 20 liras. I said ok. I paid 20 liras and then asked the woman if i could get a tray. She said i couldnt take breakfast up to room. I tried to explain but she could not understand a single word and she was shouting at me in whatever language she was speaking. I went up to speak to manger and he told me it was impossible to take breakfast up. I tried explaining my mums situation and that i would take dishes back down he still replied impossible and didnt want to hear a thing. The manager attitude stinks. I had to go out to starbucks every day to get coffee and breakfast. I wanted a refund and even complained to the company i booked through but hotel refused a refund. Do not book this hotel if you dont want your holiday ruined. Last day the guy at reception shouted at me again. He was asking me to pay 600 lira for drinking 2 cans of juice and a bottle of water from the room. I was totally confused. I said to him cant be 600. He started to raise his voice then realised he was wrong. It was 60 lira not 600. My holiday was ruined because of this horrible hotel and the horrible people in the hotel. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ANY COST.

AVOID THIS HORRIBLE HOTEL

We stayed for one week at the hotel. All employees were very helpful, the manager included, who helped us very willingly with a problem we had with the airline company. The breakfast was ok. Terrace with a wonderful view! We save a lot of ticket money, because the hotel is located in the historic centre of the city. You can go anywhere on foot. Safe neighbourhood-girls stayed out after midnight without fear. We recommend this hotel for a short or long stay!

Excellent location, excellent service!

Far from this hotel !!! Worst hotel ever and lousy (Fırat seven) manager! Staff not helpful cause of the manager! Not good place to stay cause of the road can’t take taxi easy there and careful for last minute cause of the traffic you can miss your flight. No recommend this hotel to anyone !
