When I booked into Zeytin Bahcesi early October, the place looked absolutely deserted. I really think I must have been the only customer for the night : the pool had not been cleaned, weeds everywhere around it, broken tiles. Strange, because it is a modern-looking hotel with great location at the lake, well laid-out rooms and stylish restaurant.
I got room #202, a good-size room with all amenities that you would expect in an international business hotel : generous double bed with side tables, desk, wardrobe, decent WiFi and TV (I could only find 1 English Channel). View to the garden, full of  olive trees.
There is only 1 young man at reception and he seems to be there day & night.
There is a trendy restaurant where you can have a beer and reasonable meal. It is also where breakfast is served in the morning : normally it starts late at 9am, but I asked for 8am and that was OK. B/fast could be a lot better, but, again, it probably is when the place is full.

Off season ?

We have decide to spend one night in Iznik before going to Bursa. We have choosen Hotel Zeytin Bahcesi, it is very nice hotel and situated near lake. We are unlucky that weather is cloudy but in reviews I have seen that there is amazing sunset on lake so it was possible to watch it from hotel if it was not cloudy. 

Hotel is clean and staff is friendly. Room is about 10-12 m2 and for family with 4 years old toddler it is enough. There is also restaurant in hotel that serves hotel customers and other customer. We didn’t try restaurant however it seems nice because of view. 

I guess because of not season some humid on walls appeared however it is not disturbing. I believe that by summer they will be repaired. Rooms are having tv, minibar, safe and wardrobes. There are also heaters additionally a/c. As we come in winter I had some doubts that we will need to run a/c whole night and that dries air but when I see heater I became happy. 

There are cables under tv table together with electricity plugs and they are so much accessible for my son, so as only negative comment they should be hidden for security purposes. 

I can advice this hotel to tourists who will come to Iznik, it is nice to wake up near lake. 

Cozy hotel

Location is excellent in front of the lake , rooms are good ,wide and very clean, overall hotel is very clean, the swimming pool is nice , cost is suitable, they have nice family rooms, breakfast is good.

Quite Clean and Suitable Price 

Very nice hotel, very good service, friendly personnel and always willing to help, and, we also had a great dinner in the garden, with a view on a beautiful sunset. The hotel has a nice pool and close there is the lake. A good location to visit Iznik for a few days.

Very nice at the Iznik lake

This is the second year in a row we've stayed as a family of 3 here and it's been a wonderful. Beautiful pool clean and quiet rooms friendly staff and free breakfast 😉 even tho road work front of the hotel don't allowed us to walk freely we've had to take the back roads which wasn't too bad at all we like walking! We also visited the famous sites like city museum and ceramic paintings shops they're very interesting my partner even paired her own plate at Esra Cini in the city centre which I recommend very friendly shop and the owner is very good 😊 city is very interesting due to the biblical history even latest found of a sunken church in the lake ! Traffic is very busy and we didn't see any foreign tourists but here is loads to see this little town. Fresh produce must be tested like fruit 🍉 and vegetable 🥒 lovely. People are very nice and friendly, taxi charges 10 tl in town anywhere. We a stayed by the pool most of the days due to lovely weather ☀️ of course we didn't hire a car there is a bus going most of the places from front of the hotel charges 2 lira . Sunset 🌅 is great take your camera with you and you might even proposed to your other half 👍we've loved staying here and we can't wait to go again 👍👍👍

Peaceful vacation 

My husband and I took a last minute road trip from Istanbul to Iznik and Bursa.  We found  this hotel on the internet and truthfully were not expecting anything special.  We had a lovely evening here.  The hotel is right along the lake shore drive.  It's clean, well appointed and the staff are all absolutely fantastic.  And as a bonus, we had an exceptional dinner and a couple bottles of good Turkish red in the restaurant.

Definitely stay here if you're visiting Iznik!

The room is small. It's a large, comfortable bed. There's a tea set. There's a sink, toilet and bathroom. Free Wi-Fi works well. Breakfast is cheap. There's sausage and cheese, cornmeal, no juice, tea and dissolved coffee. There were two people at the reception in the morning and they both didn't understand English.

will be suitable for rural areas

Beautiful and well-maintained hotel on the same lake shore, with excellent swimming pool in the middle of the garden. In summer it will undoubtedly be a paradise. Very good facilities and excellent breakfast at a more than good price.

 New and pleasant.

Standing hotel on the shore of Lake Iznik!!! The room is very comfortable and quiet. The sound of the pool water gives a calming atmosphere. The food is also very good, especially served in the olive garden.
