If you have short travel in trabzon and looking for cheap hotel this hotel can be your good choice. So this hotel is old building and old furniture  hotel. iam staying in here for 2 night only. The hotel is near from Market and restaurant. Iam going in low season so I just pay TL200@night. The hotel staff no speaking English just so little .

They was giving me room 202 that room have town view but the room is so humid, I can understand becouse of the weather outside. The heater in the room also not working well. I am going to telling them, lucky the maintenance man name is Ahmed come to my room and check,he also call the reception to chance my room so I get new room 203 witches much more batter. Thank you Ahmed.

The hotel have 2 restaurant. 1 in the 8 floor other 1 in the A floor where we have breakfast. The "funny" thing when iam arrive I asking the receptions did the restauran on the 8 floor open ? her say Yes ! Iam going to check..and..It's close not even have set up the table and dusty so mean is the restaurant already close more then 1 month at lest, so why her don't know ?? Iam sure just for CLOSE and OPEN in English her can understand.

The breakfast was ok, not much choice, all cheaper stuff there.

Iam not sure to recommended this hotel or not :)

NICE FOR SHORT STAY

Basically, breakfast is bad, dinner is bad, it's not clean (check towels before use, there might be bugs). It's near the road but quiet. If the hotel is crowded the elevators become insufficient. TV is okay. Hot water is okay.

Nice rooms size and nice and helpy staff the hotel located in the center of Macka and may be 45 -60 minutes from sumela castle the furniture   Are generally old 
But its good comparing to other hotels in the area and the price was reasonable this the view from my room to the small center of the town 
And the hotel located in front of the main hospital of Macka 

Visiting sumela

We were group of 32 PAX stayed for 1 night in April 15.
Hotel is good not very great, rooms are quite small,over all service is ok.........don't expect much. Breakfast is so....so. 
Can't do any thing as this one is the best hotel to stay in Trabzon.

Good not very great

The four rooms are excellent, the rooms are clean, comfortable, spacious, the furniture is good, the bathroom is good, the breakfast is excellent, the staff is generous, and like all the hotels in Macke, it's expensive, but it's a good time to spend money.

That's a good four.

Stayed for two nights on an Eastern Turkey tour. The location allowed us to return to Trabzon and check out the sights, visit the Sumela Monastery and get a quick get away for driving south.

My room was OK but had that underlying smell of tobacco smoke, often noticed in Turkish hotels even though they say 'No Smoking' - it was probably worse here than elsewhere. Even so I found the room comfortable and clean. Wi-Fi dropped in and out probably due to my room being at the end of the building as in the foyer the connection was fine. 

The food was ordinary but adequate. I wouldn't visit here for a wonderful culinary experience! The waiting staff had difficulty understanding me at times but endeavoured to please.

Did the Job

no A/C in the room just an old fan,no refregirator,bad internet connection,noisy especially the rooms by the road side,breakfast averange,its not in trabzon but far away nothing to do in this town (Mcka)

In April we were in Turkey on an organized 11-day tour with 5-star hotels in Istanbul we stayed for 2 days at the Buyuk Sumela a 5-star hotel!!!! I would like to clarify many things: 1) it was an open construction site because it is undergoing restoration; 2) it is not a 5-star hotel but a 3-star hotel because our room was poorly maintained, dirty carpets and dated furniture, inadequate bathroom, the ceiling all shrouded with dark stains; 3) the hotel is located outside everything you can see in Istanbul, away from the subway and the street agreement.
