The first problem is it's not hot water for almost five days, no toilet paper I had to ask every time no towel change no housekeeping and parquet room state dead door, mushroom on all the small walls still fast the same 11 days if you don't like eggs and prefer coffee you pay 35 liters for coffee so I was surprised I told you the addition at the end of the stay the sisters are at the entrance why the boss spends his life at the restaurant with his girlfriend, and dad you every day you are and a waiter shoots you at the end of the super trip with a shotgun on the request

It was from 5 to 10 July 2019, poyraz butik hotel barely held up, the sea is very dirty, the beach is very dirty sand, cigarette smoke, leftovers of food, nearby a gas station for oil tankers, rooms are small, furniture is old, it feels like they brought the Soviet Union, bedding is torn old, and with stains, three or four times a day they turn off the electricity, bad water barely goes, swimming with such a drink is not real at all, I don't recommend this place, it's better to rest in Antalya or in Bodrom if you love Turkey, and for such money you can also take a breath in Russia.

The most horrible place.

The location of the Poyraz Butik Hotel is not that inspiring as it is sandwiched between a busy road, a number of other houses and a bay with a oil loading facility at one end, but what makes the hotel is the warmth of the welcome and the helpful service. To be fair too, one is surprisingly unaware of the road noise, and the beach in front of the hotel is perfectly pleasant.The hotel is set within a small garden area, with secure parking, plenty of outdoor seating and a barbeque lit each evening. There is also a small bar/grill area and an area of beach equipped with loungers and umbrellas for the use of hotel guests.  We were there in the early season and everything had been newly painted and refurbished and there were numerous staff cleaning up and making everything look good.

Our bedroom had a large and comfortable four poster bed, a bathroom that was nothing exceptional, but fine and a covered balcony area with a table and chairs. Everything was spotlessly clean.

My husband arrived about 12 hours earlier than expected and was fed breakfast, and allowed into our room early, whilst I arrived somewhat later than expected at 9.30 in the evening, and was equally made welcome with food prepared specially as the restaurant had largely closed for the evening as the season had barely started. Breakfast was Turkish in style, plentiful and freshly cooked. 

If travelling from/to Ataturk airport, the hotel is approximately one hour and 20 minutes away. The hardest part of the journey is finding the way in. You will need to pass the hotel on the left (coming from Istanbul) continue for about 1 km, and then at the first opportunity turn off and pass under the main road, to head back towards Istanbul on the other carriageway, turning off at the Hotel when you reach it.

Both Zeynab, the cook, the owner, could not have been friendlier or more helpful with everything we asked, from advice over roads and where to travel next to discussions of local wines. We would highly recommend the Poyraz as the result.
