Emailed sofi apartments looking for an apartment for a couple of months after moving to marmaris explained I was looking to rent for about 2 months and would be solo and this is the response I got off

Terrible service

We arrived late at night and nobody about. We had to wait about half an hour until a Turkish man came who did not speak English.  
The room was spacious...but since we last came it was obvious it has not been looked after.  The bathroom had no shower curtain or anywhere to put stuff.  There was no toilet paper.   The mattress in the bedroom was very dirty and stained and we only had one single sheet between two beds.   It is self catering but for a family of four we virtually had no crockery or cooking things.  We asked several times but none appeared so we bought our own.. the electric hob was filthy with grease and it took nearly an hour to cook a pan of soup.   There was no kettle, they did bring us one and no toaster.
A lovely pool area but the bar was dead.  Probably because for the whole two weeks we were there the bar man just sat watching tv...the grounds were very dirty and overgrown.

Falling apart and rudeness

Just got back from Marmaris in Turkey and stayed at the Sofi Apartments the manager and staff are the best you could wish for they treat you like family they cant do enough for you,the apartments are large one bedroomed and very clean,I would recommend these Apartments to anyone.

Great Holiday

Firstly i have to start by saying i wasn't overly impressed by Marmaris as a whole. The harbour was nice, and we did managed to find one decent restaurant that served Turkish food rather that British fish and chips, fried breakfasts and all that nonsense. However, if you're the kind of person who wants to travel halfway across the world for a hot version of Blackpool, with the added bonus of getting asked if you want to hire a sunbed every 3 yards, on manky beaches so crammed full of lobster red Brits you can't move, Marmaris is for you!

We came over from Rhodes in August 2013 for two nights as a weekend break during our two weeks on the island (Rhodes is a wonderful place for anyone thinking of going there) and initially we were quite surprised as to how far the hotel was from all the 'action' in Marmaris. It's probably a 15-20 minute walk to the harbour, and in 32 degree heat that can be rather exhausting.

The rooms are OK, the guy that runs the place is a nice person, the pool is quite clean and overall it's fine, but a few things we noted -

* The pool is only open until 7 or 8pm. No idea why.
* The fridge in our room didn't work 
* The AirCon is in the living room meaning the bedrooms get baking hot
* Food is basically takeaway type stuff, no restaurant

The reality is it depends on what you are going to Mamaris for. If it's literally to sunbathe next to a pool, then get drunk, i'm sure this place would suit, but if you're looking for anything even remotely resembling Turkish culture, look elsewhere.....in fact, don't go to Mamaris at all. 

To give you an example, when we asked the guy who runs the place to recommend where we could go for Turkish food he had no idea.....and when asked what he and the barman ate in Marmaris, he pulled out a takeaway menu and said "Pizza".

And that about sums it up.

OK for Marmaris

I travelled with three other people who had stayed at the Sofi before, and this was my first time in Sofi and to Marmaris. I didn't know what to expect, but after two weeks it was faultless! I loved every minute of it. Free wifi, friendly staff, nice pool, quiet to sun bathe, music requests, nice seating area, pool table, clean room, air con was great, I do not have one single fault for my stay here. After two weeks and not one complaint to be made, it must be good right? Harry made my stay at the hotel, when I had enough of the sun i'd sit and join him at the bar in the shade, chat, laugh, and have a drink with him, it is very home from home and Harry (llyas) is a credit to this place. The apartments are close to everything, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, everything you could need, even a corner shop where you could change your money, which was very convenient, also a taxi rank very close by, it isn't far to walk to the heart of Marmaris either. 

Sofi and Puppies restaurant are owned by ergin, and I must say the food is fantastic at Puppies restaurant, I had the best Chicken Kiev here, I even want as far to say it was the best Chicken Kiev i'd ever had, after that, it's all I had when I went to this restaurant. 

Great stay, memories will last forever, thank you.
