I stayed here a while ago was not this year but could not leave earlier date . I was a solo female traveller the apartments themselves are very nice yes has tv but only one english channel which shows the same things over and over . Now this is a self catering hotel only the owner is not happy if you don't eat at hotel restaurant . I was a female solo traveller it was more that I did not feel comfortable eating in the restaurant alone so I chose to eat in instead as we all know it is actually cheaper to eat out then in but I was shy and trying to settle in and the one time I did eat there I wasn't overly impressed by the food nor the conversation and I witnessed a member of staff having argument on phone and then run and get on the back of someone's motorbike with a huge knife never been so scared in my life! Me eating in seemed to bother them anyway as they took my cooking hob away said it was for servicing and that everyone's had been taken spoke to other guests and guess what nope just mine was taken ! My room was not cleaned I had to take the cleaning lady's broom left in hallway and do it myself did not get clean sheets or towels after they realised I was not eating or drinking in hotel restaurant . Each time I went out I was hassled by staff as to where I was going and why I wasn't eating and drinking in restaurant now  I've been coming to marmaris for 11 years with family never experienced this and sadly put me off coming alone . Terrible hotel I wouldn't stay with my family here the manager cares only for money 1st day I arrived he told me the hotel room price is cheap and doesn't pay the bills the restaurant /bar does and showed me pics of hes children to guilt me into eating/drinking there just made me feel more uncomfortable and that was on my first day! I just wanted to come home after that please don't go there it's Miles away from everything and has a tiny pool which I didn't even bother  to use I went elsewhere so I wasn't hassled.  Much better places that allow you to enjoy you're holiday and don't take you're cooking equipment away when it's self catering!!!

Worst hotel ever

Can't knock it at all, price excellent, Accom excellent, we were half board breakfast excellent Eveining meal excellent.
Bar great no complaints, swimming pool great, we spent all of our time at the beach 15 minute walk.
Entertainment very good always something different, staff more than helpful at all times, I would defo go back again.

Weeks break

10/10 holiday again and all thanks to Baz and Nebo - 1st class rooms and 1st class food.... loved my holiday yet again. I've stayed here 5 times now and wouldn't stay anywhere else! Cleaners r fab and make u feel like part of their own family 😃

Great Apartments 

Although I have only given a 3 rating we enjoyed our time here very much.Baz and Nico are two lovley guys who will do anything to help.
There is a good size pool area with plenty of beds,lots of bars and restaurants close by and  a good selection of supermarkets for those self catering.You will need to be fit to walk to the beach,about 30 mins in 40+ degrees of heat mid summer.
The apartment was spacious with a large wrap around balcony but the kitchen equipment was a bit limited, having said that eating out in Turkey is very cheap.
This was a last minute budget holiday and I was happy with what we got for the price we paid.

A great holiday

My second visit here (3rd booked for September) no faults, the price is sooo reasonable. Rooms always clean, cleaners are brill. 
Hospitality 10/10 Baz the owner is amazing and would do anything he could for his guests. Nibo his right hand man also fab!! 
Love this place, location is nearby a lot of places and dolmuş (bus into town) close by. 
Restaurant in the apartments is amazing. Best breakfast in the whole of Marmaris. I can say that with confidence as I've tried most places. 
Recommend a stay!!! 

Faultless 

The staff is careless, uncovering. For 11 days, the bedding and bathroom accessories were never changed, even the toilet soap was refused. The hotel is located 15 minutes' walk to the sea.

Before we arrived at the unbooked/unwanted accommodation (Kaan-Apart booked/Villa Sun accommodation) we were invited: we (49.55.59 years old) had booked for 14 days and 4 weeks and arrived at night. We were initially welcomed and started the formalities. During this time we were laughed at by a drunken English Twen-Lady, but none of the three men responsible for the reception were invited to the event. Apparently we were asked with regret, but we were also asked to go to another hotel located in the inner city of Kaunas (Villa Apartment) for a few minutes, but after a few days we were asked to leave the hotel, we went to the gym, we went to the gym, we went to the hotel, we went to the KAAN-Villa Hotel, and we went to the hotel.

A reference

From 6am to 3am, and at all times, Baz and his team did everything they could to make us feel at home. We've been going to Marmaris for over 10 years, and this is one of the best hotels we've ever been to. The rooms were as good as the ones we have for the same price in Marmaris and the kitchen was good. We didn't eat there every night, because we have a lot of friends in Marmaris. We still have a lot to do in the Villa Sun in the years to come.

From 6:00 to 3:00 in the morning and at all other times, Baz and his team did everything to make us feel at home here. For more than 10 years, we've been going to Marmaris and the Villa Sun is one of the best hotels we've stayed in. The rooms were as good as the ones you get for this price in Marmaris, the food was well cooked, the price etc. Most of the time we didn't eat dinner at the hotel because we have a lot of friends in Marmaris. In the next few years, we're going to spend a lot of holidays in Villa Sun.

My criticism: We're 32 and 31. It was great. Baz, the owner was fair to us and on some days when we overcharged our wallet, he lowered our bill a little bit. The hotel is very simple, but you can sleep here too. The roommates cleaned everything here every day. The bed linen was changed in 2 weeks 3 times, which cost us 4-5 times.
