I always leave very honest reviews, I stayed here 6 years ago and now a week ago , The hotel has split form the other Julian Hotels, It has cut a 3rd off the front and has is constructing a Popeyes fast food place, construction work still going on and will be a while  , its where you used to sit in the evenings and was lovely watching people go by .The old room has a broken table tennis table and bats where a nice lounge bar used to exist .The hotel is now 2* thats been honest, it is now set up to be a bed and breakfast for the future im certain, the food was shocking , cold and very few choices and quite embarrasing in comparison to 6 years ago .One place with one hotplate to cook eggs or omlette so any more than 5 people and your waiting 5 minutes, as it gets busier tyheres no way they can cope , theres 5 hot plates which had chicken legs and burgers for evening meals and cold , and pasta inedible, I still cant believe it servces ice cream for only 1 hour a day and 4 basic chaoices  , thers now one small bar and it has 87 rooms , so with 30 people it was a struglle and a long wait , rooms clean but concrete beds so uncomfortable, one side has the loudest bar in Marmaris opposite so very noisy , Pool has no life guard , was like 18 to 30s shouting swearing and not a single member of staff to show and they just dont care, a look of fear and resignation on all the faces , and an apologetic waiter repeatings its as much as we can do with the new rules , I felt sorry for them , while I was there over two days 3 official complaints raised .Please imagine the hotel does not look like the pictures online on all sites the fornt blue bit is not the same now . I was so exited to go back to a peacfull place and amazing food, ive never been so let down, I am just baffled at the good reviews it doesnt make any sense , half the pool area and then the dining area was full of people complaining, maybe some mopre bad reviews to follow. Please avoid this if your thinking of booking on mmemory from previous years , I repeat its a shodow of the old place

Huge change for the worse

Hotel was awful . Beds were a hard as a brick. Food you couldn't eat and the drinks were awful. Decently not 4 star so asked for a transfer and they didn't even ask why to try and solve the problems

Birthday treat

Absolutely beautiful hotel,reception staff are second to none, excetionally clean, staff very helpful always with a smile,the rooms are lovely beds very comfy cleaner is lovely ,food is absolutely delicious with large varieties and change daily,and the staff are very professional and attentive, only problem which is a health and safety issue is having the door open when eating with the night winds isnt pleasant and brings the temperature of the dood down,and please check the chicken a few of us had chicken raw in the middle which can be dangerous

celebrated my friends birthday where they really did make sure we had a cake and a wonderful dinner,desserts are moorish 🤤pool area is fantastic and being an only adult hotel this was the ultimate relaxing holiday, absolutely wonderful would stay again and recommend it if you want a break from the kids,also wheelchair accessible.close to the shops s and a 3 min walk to the beach.,,only one niggle is when people are eating keep the door closed as its really windy at night and causes your food to get cold instantly

Gad a wonderful time as always

My wife and I needed a restful rewarding two week fully inclusive holiday. Ada Julian adults- only hotel was excellent. We spent two weeks reading, swam, sunbathed,ate and drank well and loved the staff and restful well organised environment. Great value for money and we return as if from a health farm! Good size refreshing pool, sufficient good quality sun loungers (hotel 70% full early season), and outstanding attentive staff. Thankyou Errol for overseeing a high standard of service by a consistently professional and friendly waiting staff. Thankyou to Ishmael and Aziz in pool bar in daytime for attentive and friendly service. The standards of cleanliness indoors and around pool were rigorous although our room needed swept and mopped before arrival. Excellent mattress and daily towel change and weekly sheets changed. I loved breakfasts and enjoyed all meals with their abundance of salads and vegetables, lovely breads, tasty deserts, though I eat less meat and more fish. Turkey, chicken, beef the usual fare, creative team of chefs and something to please most people. I feel healthier with a great tan! (And both my wife and I have got our insomnia improved greatly. We slept through the nights because we relaxed all the days so well!) 
Nice cold white wine at lunch and dinner. Fully inclusive bar rewarding. I availed of the hotel spa- for a one hour sports massage and reflexology. Very competent masseur and good value. The spa team offer a great service including Turkish bath and diffèrent forms of massage-worth trying. Margaret is a delightful Scottish lady representing the Gold Centre with a pretty shop in the hotel. We didn’t buy but she is friendly and helpful generally. 
My wife and I appreciated the location of Ada Julian, close to the gorgeous promenade, and the town centre is walking distance and much to explore. We walked to Ichmelier and the tree and flower lined promenade is exceptional- take a water taxi home after a passion fruit, melon and mint smoothie at a water side cafe! 
When we return we’ll be ready for one of the many outstanding day trips on offer but for us, the hotel provided a real rest and pampering. 
I’d recommend the Ada Julian offer the option of British tv channels/bbc for a small fee for us to enjoy for some or part of an evening for some of us older Brits. We availed of this at another Marmaris hôtel a couple of years ago. Tierni’s Irish bar across the street can boom on to midnight or even 2am which can be tough though we learnt to sleep through it! However thanks to the staff there and the dancing we enjoyed a Saturday night there (the drinks aren’t cheap!)
I’d return to Ada Julian. Jet 2 offered the usual outstanding service and smooth efficiency and their Turkish rep at Ada Julian this season, Jan, is excellent. Would Jet 2 offer Turkish hill villages as a trip? Or guided hike on the forest  trail above Turunc to include ancient Amos? Good for active oldies! 

I hope others enjoy themselves as much as us!

Feel like we’ve had a health boost!

Hotel- Very clean, comfortable and relaxing 
No entertainment but background music around the pool. 
Staff: The staff are so welcoming, they don’t stop. There seems to be a lot of managers walking around but don’t do a lot, they have there waiters rushing all over the place. The staff from entering the hotel were great, greeted by two male staff who brought the cases in, check in the hotel easy and all the information needed was explained 
Food: Same food daily, but there is something for everyone. Can’t moan for the price paid. 
Have a Turkish bath at the hotel. Great value for money. 
Location: brilliant location to bars, restaurants, beach and shops.

Good value / clean and friendly staff

Brilliant hotel, myself and my friend came for a relaxing week as we both have demanding jobs , and boy did we relax , haven’t laughed so much in a long time , Erol the restaurant manager was great and looked after us , the bar staff were great, rooms were clean and food was ok there was food for even the fussiest people (Tara) lol we will definitely be back at some point !!

Relaxing

Visited this hotel end of March beginning off April, hotel was clean , rooms were clean , pool was great and bars staff too , Erol the restaurant manager was amazing he went above and beyond to accommodate everyone, food was ok their was something for even the fussy eater (me) , hotel was in a good location with plenty bars near and beach 2 minutes away , will definitely visit again ..

A week of relaxing

Clean hotel with great hard working staff. Start of season,if there were any start up problems,the staff didn’t show it  and made sure we were looked after.Special mention to Erol who worked tirelessly to ensure smooth running and to lovely waitress Kubra. Yes the beds are firm and the hotel is in a busy location so can be noisy but,at the same time the bus route is just outside,the shale beach is nearby and you can walk either way along the sea front. The pool area is clean as was the dining room. Food always nicely presented. Marmaris seems busy everywhere so it was nice to see the far end of the harbour near the castle and wish we’d had chance to see the old part of Marmaris. The hotel was good, would visit other places in Turkey.

Last minute holiday, had to be reasonably priced, clean, sun and relaxation. We got what we paid for. The hotel was good

great hotel, food amazing, staff very helpful & efficient
beds are a bit on hard side, housekeeping staff are very good, no entertainment maybe to early in seaon ( april) very central for eveything, supermarket across road

Been going to Turkey for 7 years this is one of the worst hotels ever. Spoke to reception on arrival, then had to come back down regarding room which was equipped for a disabled person,  a gentleman he was very rude,told hotel full so no change of room. Food absolutely disgusting we went for 2 weeks and had to eat out most of the time due to husband being a diabetic. Food repetitive every night choice of round, flat or long meatballs. Alot of people like ourselves would walk in at 7pm to see what was on offer and walk out. I was asked to not take photos in restaurant of food, why?
Not sure what was going on in hotel, but i felt like i was in hotel with the mafia present, staff joining in with local trouble from the irish bar. 
I shall definitely not return or recommend this hotel. People think twice.
