We are a family of four, two teenage girls. We stayed for 15 nights at the beautiful Ovabuku Pansiyon. It was not long enough!  Our hosts were gentle, welcoming and kind, never intrusive. Our rooms were comfortable and clean. The pool and garden were exceptionally beautiful, serene and hard to leave. The short walk to the beach was perfect for our slow, languid holiday style. Best of all was the delicious home cooked food and amazing breakfasts. Such good value and so generous. Truly memorable.

The loveliest place we have ever been

Datca Peninsula is an incredible beautiful place for people who enjoy wild nature and perfect and uncontaminated beaches. Ovabuku pension is the perfect place to relax after day of intense outdoor activity (or intense relax at the beach!). It is placed in the west part of the peninsula, in my opinion the best area far away from touristic cities and chaos (but Datca city is only 30 minutes away).
Rooms are very simple, but clean and comfortable. Room service comes every 2 days to clean and change the towels and bed sheets.
They serve an abundant traditional Turkish breakfast with cheese, honey, delicious home-made marmalade and very fresh vegetables. At dinner you feel like at home, with delicious fresh home made food.
The most important thing about Ovabuku Pension is that everything is made with love, every angle of the garden, as well as the food or the rooms are cured in every little detail and you can feel it during your stay The owners are special people that make everything in their power to make you feel at home and to help you in every situation. When we left they waited for us to go, to say goodbye and we had the impression to leave old friends.
The atmosphere was so nice that sometimes we were debating about staying some more at the beach or go back to the hotel to relax on the couches in the garden. We couldn't have been more happy of our choice.

A real jewel in an amazing place

Frankly, we are very surprised to find such a good atmosphere in  Ovabuku. Very warm and good service and very relaxing area with pine trees' shadow .. Good and sufficient breakfast , plus very decent dinner if you want, definitely better than seaside restaurants..
Owners are not typical locals , coming from big and messy metropol life and trying to make this place good for visitors.

Nice family place

If you want a holiday that is full of shopping, lots of people and a busy beach DO NOT visit Ovabuku, Mesudiye is a paradise its like you have stepped back in time to the Med that our grandparents first visited in the 1950's. Ovabuku Pension is bliss, its a wonderful warm and welcoming pension, the fresh white rooms are basic and comfortable, the pool is great, I loved every minute of my time here and was sad to leave. The hospitality and food were 1st class, the managers went out of their way to make sure we had a great time- we borrowed their bikes and explored the coast- I will return
