I was in Nigde for one day and evening for business.  Because the schedule was very busy, I was only in the hotel to drop my bags and then returned to sleep.  We had to leave early the next morning so my review is limited.  But, while the rooms were okay, the facilities were limited.  Sorry, but I never got the opportunity to try the restaurant.  I would stay there again.

Decent place but hard to find when driving!

It is a little challenging to find this hotel as it is on a side street but conveniently located in the city.  There is a valet to assist you with both your car and luggage, which is very nice.  Otherwise no place to leave your car.

The staff do not speak English but know exactly how to check you in well.  You must use caution on the first flight of stairs as they blend in way too well with the main floor.  The elevator is very small and since they put us on the first flight up, we took the stairs.   Easy to trip and fall if not careful.  

We did not use the restaurant as it closed way too early for us. The lobby is large enough to handle a group of 10-12 easily.  The rooms as clean but the lighting is a little old and not easy to use...not enough electrical plugs.  My room had a ventilation hole that was not covered in the wall of the bathroom so you heard the water pass by from other rooms...pretty odd as it just needed a cap cover.

We returned to our rooms at 11 pm and it was very very quiet in the street.  We left at 6 am and again, nothing was moving outside.  A quiet place to stay.

Quiet Place To Stay

Finding your way around the country can be difficult once you leave the well-known cities but everyone in Nigde is really welcoming and this hotel is no exception. The rooms may not be especially large but they are clean, the beds are comfortable, there's no noise and what's particularly important, the hotel itself is warm in winter. And it's also worth saying that the typically Turkish breakfast is fresh, reasonably varied and there's plenty to eat
