We arrived last night and was greeted by 2 friendly members of the team who took us to our room. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed to start our holiday. This place really is a hidden gem. The food is outstanding. And the pool areas are very well kept! Will definitely be returning.

This is a real little gem of a place! The location is beautiful, the staff are all lovely, rooms nice and clean, I loved it here and looking forward to coming back! Away from the hustle and bustle and some really good restaurants close by especially "Shiraz"

Fantastic people and a beautiful setting in the mountains. This is a budget hotel, very clean and basic. It's great if you want a cheap deal. We all slept well, the beds were comfortable. I really enjoyed the free Turkish breakfast. Some of our gang paid for extras. Easy access to the bus and taxi service.

Stayed for 14 nights me and my partner in July this year had a lovley holiday the staff were great helpful breakfast was Turkish but always found something to eat the people we met at the hotel was amazing and friendly the only gripe I have is there was people drinking in the pool with glasses and bottles which is an accident waiting to happen especially when there was children in the pool at the time and also smoking in the pool with ash tray on the side other than that was a lovely stay

Pretty good

I’ll tell you something I’ve been reading reviews slating the breakfast and you know what? They have come from shallow minded brits who don’t like something different!! Why go abroad ?? The breakfast was amazing this morning!! Rooms on the small side with no fridge but I can live with that, I will be getting air con shortly because it’s bloody hot ! I dragged my daughter down to the lagoon earlier on foot 😂😂😂 get a taxi people! It’s a decent location but everything’s a decent 15 to 20 minute walk which I will be doing in a couple of hours looking for some decent kebabs. Love oily deniz beach side and it’s so busy but manageable. Cool little chilled hotel…..

Relaxed atmosphere with no over friendly brits 😂

A nice well set out little hotel. The rooms are very basic. There are self catering apartments but can’t comment on the them. The hotel is away from the noise of Hisaranou and it has a nice pool area set in well kept gardens. I was surprised to see guests being served beer etc whilst in the pool. Surely an accident waiting to happen. Hisaranou itself has become tacky and it’s getting quite expensive. My only real gripe with the hotel is the fact that you never know when the water/ electricity is on or off.

Summer break

Not a bad hotel by any means, stayed there for a week as we found a very cheap deal.
The room was basic but clean when we arrived. 
We had to pay extra for air con and we had to ask for clean towels and bedding after 4 nights because they weren't changed.
The breakfast is very basic Turkish style, no fresh coffee, no juice and no hot option.
Bar prices were expensive for Ovacik (160tl for Efes)  we had lunch there once and it was nice but dearer than restaurants in Hisoranu. 
Pool was nice and sunbeds were very good. 
The location is about 30 minutes walk to Hisoranu. 
Would I stay again ? yes if we found a cheap deal.

So so Hotel

Nice, quiet and cheap place to stay, in a great location with buses frequently to and from Oludeniz beach as well as Fethiye. Rooms were cleaned often, with towel changes and toiletries. It was a good stay for the price and the staff were friendly.

My sister and I arrived around 2am 25/06/24 for 7 nights.The hotel owner booked us in.He told us about the £5 per day charge for air conditioning and safe charge.He then showed us to our room and gave us no information. The room was extremely small with only the bare essentials. When we opened the window we noticed the mosquito screen was broken and had an attempt to fix it with sticky tape which did not work. There was no fridge in the room and the safes were in an unsecured open reception. The floor was not clean and my towel had old foundation makeup stains,the bathroom was dirty,especially the rubber seal around the bottom of the shower and when I wiped the toilet floor around the toilet bowl.the wet wipes were filthy. The headboards were covered in white dust.On trying to sleep we heard a loud dripping noise which disturbed our sleep throughout the night and although we complained 5 times the leak from the air conditioning  unit only got fixed after 4 nights disturbed sleep. My other complaint was that the balcony door did not lock even though the signs read that  the hotel would not be held responsible for thefts. Nothing was done about it during our stay therefore we as older ladies did not feel very safe. The breakfast was the same every day apart from some orange or green salad now and again, and meat fruit cheese etc had flies on it as nothing was covered. The public toilet was unclean ,sometimes had no soap and never had hand towels. The free wi fi is so poor that if you move away from bar and dining room to elsewhere in the hotel the connection is lost.The prices of spirits are excessive and we bought our cold drinks outside the hotel as it is much less expensive. We noticed that the regular guests received preferential treatment and they always give good reviews.I will say the setting and gardens are lovely and the pool and surrounding area was kept tidy and clean. Some of the other 1st time guests felt the same about many of the above points. We were not impressed by the cleanliness or the speed in which our complaints were dealt with therefore unless the problems are eradicated we will not use the hotel in the future even though it was a good location for getting the dolmus to many places

Not as good as it should or could be

Located 10mins taxi ride from the main town- this enabled us to experience the busy town but retreat back to the quiet area of the hotel.  The pool is very clean and well maintained, as are the surrounding gardens. The rooms are small and basic- no fridge or kettle. But all very clean and recently refurbished. Beds are comfortable with a decent mattress and the shower is more powerful than mine at home!! Staff are friendly and attentive- nothing is too much trouble. Many of the current guests are returners to The Gorkem which speaks for itself. Would recommend if you’re after a great budget hotel and holiday
