This is by far the worst hotel we have stayed at and we do go away every year. We either go away in August or October. We stayed at Orkaworld last week of October into the first week of November 2024. 

I’ll start with the pros:
- staff : most are helpful and friendly. Shout out to manager Acer(probably got the name wrong), short baldish guy. He was very helpful and tried to resolve issues when we raised them and also to the kids club lady(Merve, I think) 
- food: I’ll give it to them, food was quite nice imo and decent varieties. 
- charging points : decent amount in rooms and around
- entertainment: this was fairly okay. The live band was nice. I enjoyed bingo night, enjoyed the entertainment put on for the kids. 
- spa : this was fantastic, the ladies and service was very nice. 
- Shuttle bus to beach: the hotel provided a bus to the beach 

Cons:
- cleanliness: this is appalling. As you’ll see from pictures, attention to details is poor. The bedsheet in couple of the rooms had stains, the bathroom/toilet was disgusting and really could do with immediate upgrade. 
- pool : it was very cold that we couldn’t use it. In one of the pool(indoor), the ladder had broken with sharp edges hanging out. 
- Aqua park: at the time of booking, at no point was it stated that the park wouldn’t be opened. It was one of the selling points for us. It was a let down to find out that wasn’t going to be available. 
- wifi: this wasn’t consistent. It was frustrating at times and ended up using mobile data and racked up extra charges there. 
- kids activities: as it was end of season, there wasn’t really much for kids to do. Couldn’t use the pool as it was too cold. Kids club was running but wasn’t consistent. Some days it was shut without notice but shout out to Merve(think that’s her name). The day my kids did attend, they had fun and she seems good with the kids. 
- Animals: personally, I’m not a cat lover. There were a few cats about and even inside the dining hall with some attempting to climb on people while eating. 

Overall, we personally wouldn’t go back as the cons outweigh the pros and the things we hold highly and dear, were a big let down by the hotel.

This is not a 4/5* hotel, more of a 2/5 - 3*

Very good hotel, staff were absolutely lovely and made sure you were feeling good at all times. Food was amazing and available throughout the day so never went hungry. The entertainment at night made the whole day feel complete with kids entertainment as well as live music for all and keeping everyone involved. Here there is something for everyone wether you go as a family or alone with friends.

Absolutely amazing

Great hotel great staff. Entertainment team were amazing with my 4 yr old daughter. Highly recommend a visit here. Food was good, entertainment every night. Everyone in hisaronu were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going every year

Great time

During our 10 night stay we were located away from the main hotel building in a  Superior room close to the pool bar, the room was spacious and clean. The hotel grounds are spotless with gardeners working on the the grounds daily. The pools and the surrounding areas were kept clean by the staff throughout each day.

The Hotel is in a great location with easy access to Fethiye (6km) and Ölüdeniz (4km). The public bus service is brilliant with a bus passing the front of the hotel every 10 minutes or there is a taxi rank not far from the Hotel entrance the taxi costs are very reasonable. 

The food was great with a good varied selection at each meal time, drinks were ok, the local beer Effes is decent enough. 

Special shout out to the Lady making the pancakes each day at the pool bar they were brilliant and my son loved them, she was great with the kids.

The entertainment for the kids was good and the entertainment staff were superb with the kids, nothing was too much hassle for them.

The onsite Spa was excellent, very well priced and the staff super friendly. They even let us shower there on our last day with a late departure it was great to be able to get a shower prior to leaving for the airport.

Overall a very enjoyable experience in a beautiful part of Turkey. We would stay here again in the future without doubt.

Family break for October holidays

What an amazing hotel and the staff are amazing and absolutely lovely, so friendly and happy to help wherever needed. The entertainment was amazing. The main entertainer is brilliant. He's so good with all the kids young and older kids. Couldn't recommended this hotel anymore. The food is also amazing, always something for everyone. We are a family of four and will definitely be back next year. Faultless, best holiday for the whole family.

Orka world hotel

We had an amazing stay at Orka World Hotel between the 28th October 2024 and the 3rd November. Special compliments to the moustache guy (mini disco maestro and darts guy) and the other female mini disco maestro (With both of them i loved our little bollywood bonding session!) as well as the creppe lady for making delicious creppes every day, and the main entertainer Ankut. Thank you everyone for making our stay very enjoyable!

An amazing stay at Orka

The hotel is average, garden rooms are good main hotel are poor, pools were ice cold but good, it was off peak so quite, if it was peak season it would be terrible for sun beds, we had to queue some times for dinner, and it was quite season. The food was terrible! I am not fussy eater so could find something, but my wife has gluten allergy and there was little for her to have. Even I was struggling after a few days sick of the same things. The ice creams were really good at 4 o’clock. Drinks were good, hotel staff some were great some were ok, only person who I had trouble with was the manager terrible attitude to the customers! The spa and the staff at the spa were brilliant couldn’t fault them. Entertainment was bang average, but the young kids seem to like it. Location is not bad on the edge of the main town. 
Would I come back? If it was cheap, off season and could eat out for at least lunch or dinner most days.
Last point the water park closed on my second day, this was not advertised  and people turning up with kids were not happy! It didn’t affect me as I went last year and it was a rip off for the food and drink so didn’t need to go back

Average hotel - terrible food

Went here only to find that the aqua park was closed. Never got told this. Food  wasn’t the best not much to choose from especially having gluten allergies. Ended eating out a lot. Worst food I’ve had on an all inclusive 
However the spa was lovely and the drinks were good

Holiday

It was suppose to be a holiday we've all been waiting for.
After arrival we found out the waterpark is closed even though I was sure that when I booked the hotel through onthebeach.com that information was not there. We specifically booked the hotel for the aquapark and would defo not book it otherwise. The info is indeed on their website now, but back in 2022, there was no mention of it being closed as of 16.10. We ended up going to the beach a lot due to the pools being freezing and rather boring. 

We arrived for our room not being ready and were given a room that was branded as an "upgrade" but was actually made for max. 3 people, while there were 4 of us.
The room we moved to the following day was ok, but lacking privacy (for changing, etc.) and with poor lighting. 

The pool was freezing, and the annex bar and snack bar had very limited options for drinks and food. The young lad at the bar was not bothered and couldn't care less if even the basic drinks were not avialable.

I must say that when we did get our drinks, they were good and generous, so that's a plus. 

Food...

Starting with breakfast, not much choice, basic and nothing to complain about. I wish there were more hot meats avialable.

Lunch...beige food. That's al I'm going to say. Beige, fried, all tasting the same.

Dinner - food was defo the weakest I've ever tried on all inclusive holiday. Bland, not enough salt, spices.
All was pretty much a casserole, all meats in sauces that lacked flavour, and only chicken, turkey, some beef. Only once I've seen lamb chops and prawns avialable. It's a shame, I really was looking forward to the food.

Spa was great, lovely staff, fab customer service. Same for the lads at the main bar next to the restaurant, they were just on it. I'm not sure why annex bar was such a miss, when you clearly have staff who know what they're doing and are keen to create a positive experience for customers. 

It's a shame because we were hoping for a time of our lives.

Holiday of a lifetime...or maybe NOT

We had the best time here as a family of 9. Entertainment was brilliant every night for the kids. My 3 year old loved dancing away every night to baby shark! Food was hit and miss but had some decent meals in the 10 days we were here. Staff were all great. 
We had a family room in the annex and it was massive! Fridge always stocked up, beds were comfortable. 
My only problem was Hüseyin drinks were always far too strong😂 but he knows! Will definitely be returning back to Orka world at some point!
