We really liked the location of the hotel as the other hotels that call themselves five n four stars (Karinna and Alcoklar) were far from the main area (except Grand Yazici which was next to it) where skiing is done, chairlifts, and skii motor bikes. The other hotels were not extremely far in distance but walking in snow and cold weather makes it difficult to even walk a bit. Another delight was the three times meal included in the room fare which is not mentioned when booking the room. For a family of four we used to pay more than a $100 for the meals . Our room cost was $100 per night. If you keep in mind the price of the hotel , it was worth it. Turkish bath n sauna were included in the facilities . There was a game room and tea with snacks was served in the lobby twice a day .
Ofcourse , the rooms were quite small and furniture was one of the most basic . Looking at the room quality it wasn't a 3 star. The beds weren't comfy and the bathroom very small. Heaters worked well. But room quality was sacrificed for the price . 

Good location but bad rooms 

Büyük Otel Uludağ provides everything you expect from an average ski hotel. It is located in the 1st District of Uludağ Mountain. Uludağ is one of the oldest ski resorts in Turkey, it is the mountain called Uludağ in Bursa city. As Uludağ is very close to İstanbul it is the most preferred ski resort. There are many options of traveling to Bursa from İstanbul, first you may take buses from Esenler Bus Terminal ( which you may get by using metro lines from Atatürk International Airport) second you may prefer take sea buses/ferries from Yenikapı Port ( which you may get by using Havaş airport shuttles from Atatürk International Airport) to Mudanya Bursa Port and from there midi buses to Bursa city center, or you may rent a car and drive to Bursa and from there to Uludağ which is approximately 250 km. When you arrive to Bursa there are midibuses taking off from Tophane district of Bursa every 15 min going to Uludağ. There is a Post Office, a small hospital/clinic, two ATM machines, cafes, restaurants, bars in Uludağ. Despite there are many hotel options, I have booked Büyük Hotel Uludağ via a travel agency with a reasonable price. It is approximately 650 USD for 4 nights in standard room, everything included, meaning three meals daily, complimentary tea and coffee at any time you want at the common sitting area. The food is ok, no problem, the hotel is as clean as a ski resort hotel can be ( if you have been in one you know that most of those hotels are covered with thick carpets and those carpets most of the times look old and kind of dirty because of the snow carried into the hotel with the snow boots) standard rooms are small and looks kind of old, especially the bathroom is very small, there is no minibar in the rooms but there is a mini market in the hotel almost open every hour where you can buy some snack and drinks, the staff is nice and helpful, there is a ski room where you can rent skiing equipment, the rental prices are reasonable, there is also an information desk which you can make appointments for ski lessons, there is a T-Bar operated just across the hotel, you may buy ski passes for hourly, daily or more from the Belvu Cafe where the T-Bar is located. There are also snow mobiles that you may rent but it is expensive one ride ( about 30 min) is about 80 USD. There is also free wi-fi at the hotel, rooms have mini TVs. There is also Turkish Hamam/Bath and sauna in the hotel where you can enjoy massages too. In the common areas there are play rooms where you may enjoy games but you have to pay extra for those.  If you love skiing and would be out skiing all day I suggest this hotel however if you are with family especially with small kids or babies who does/do/can not share the same taste with you,  you may want to prefer another hotel which offers more entertainment than this one. 

Average ski resort hotel

Worst hotel I've been to. Personnel not friendly. Heater stopped working and nothing was done about it.
They have the mentally that if you complain about something than they will be deaf eared.
The beds not comfortable and  rooms not clean.
