Safranbolu is a gorgeous historic town and you would not find a more lovely place to stay than Dadibra Konak.
It is a historic Ottoman house that has been lovingly restored. The owners are warm and welcoming and you will experience true Turkush hospitality.
Rooms are beautifully decorated and the breakfast is superb...including fresh breads home made jams and numerous other lovely things with everything served to your liking. The garden is beautiful and restful with tables to have breakfast under a walnut tree decorated with blue eyes..overlooking the town of Safranbolu .it is highly recommended.

A slice of heaven

We stayed at the Dadibra hotel as a family with our 3 year old son for 2 nights, but immediately regretted not staying longer. This is an old restored mansion on a hill, which is within walking distance to the very center of the historic city, but rather far from the city traffic. An incredible view of the city opens up from almost each spot. There is no feeling that you are in a hotel, rather that you have come to your old friends' home and you are an extremely welcomed guest, it is worth noting that the owners are incredibly hospitable. Mustafa Hoca and Nuray Hanım managed to create a special atmosphere of coziness and comfort. The room was clean and comfortable, warm with all the comforts. Delicious breakfasts, with a large selection of cheeses, vegetables, a wide variety of homemade jams on the terrace with a stove and crackling coals in the fireplace. We would especially like to note the interior design of the hotel, it is thought out to the smallest detail, the owner of the hotel does everything with her own hands. Everything about this hotel seems to fit together into a perfect puzzle. Upon arrival, the owners of the hotel advised us where to dine and what to do, and their advice was not at all from the category of tourist places, we were extremely pleased. The hotel has a lovely garden where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or fresh tea with Turkish delight, soak up the sun and read a book in silence.

We highly recommend this hotel to all those who want to get away from the bustle of the city and spend their stay in a place where everything is tastefully done in order to satisfy the guest. The owners really try and accept their guests as at home, and this is worth a lot.

Coziest place. Feels like home.

Tastefully renovated with oodles of handmade furniture & furnishings made by the proprietor, Mr. Mustafa. 
We were warmly welcomed by him. For breakfast we ate excellent food prepared by Mr. Mustafa’s wife.
The guestroom & bathroom are top quality. 
Definitely the place to stay when visiting Safranbolu.

Safranbolu in 2021

If you're visiting Safranbolu then it's a no brainer to not stay at such an authentic hotel. The town is from a typical Ottoman era which is mostly untouched/unchanged. Dadibra provides you with a boutique hotel comfort mixed with history. 

You are lucky if it's not fully booked. Treat yourselves for at least two nights.

My sister and I stayed at Dadibra Konak in July-it has an excellent location overlooking the city, has clean and charming rooms. The breakfast menu was excellent. Owner and manager Mustafa Bey is very polite and helpful. I will definitely recommend Dadibra Konak to visitors to Safranbolu.

Very pleasant stay

I had gone to attend a Turkish wedding and the hosts had booked my stay here.

To start was.  reaching this place after a 3 hour drive from Ankara with the picturesque roads  suddenly you come across this heritage city with cobbled lined roads and to turn your car you should be an expert in reverse driving.

Anyways. The hotel ( read Otel) dadibra konak is perched Ona hill top with a majestic view of the surroundings and the valley.

The owner mustafa who was a mechanical engineer and a teacher he along with his wife have turned the place to a great place to spend a few nights .

Certain rules have to be followed. No shoes or any footwear allowed Beyond the reception. Appreciate that this the best way to keep the rooms free of grime . You are provided with room slippers.

With a friendly staff of 3 they have efficiently managed the hote spic and span and with lots of greenery around and flowers .

Turkish read any time available 

The rooms are decently done and the wash rooms are well designed except for some wooden floor creaking.

The best part is the breakfast and the spread.
You get a choice of at least 10 marmalades and 3-4 home made spreads all are amazing tastes. And the doughnut shaped Turkish bread to die for .

Herbs and fresh fruits for the breakfast and in case you are not satisfied then one can pluck the mulberry and plums and peaches from the trees a round.

Overall a great place to stay as the owners go the extra length to see that your needs are catered to

one of the best hotels in Safranbolu

We stayed at this charming old place for a night on a roadtrip and it was a great decision. The owner and his son are extremely welcoming and friendly and told us what we should see and do downtown. Breakfast was amazing!

Charming cosy treat

The place is absolutely beautifull! The hotel interior and exterior, the garden and breakfast erea, the authentic, superclean, cozy rooms... everything is beautifull and nice. The place is very photogenic, so if you want a nice instagram pic... this is the place! And the owners/staff are so sweet, trying to help and be of service everywhere they can. The breakfast is absolutely  wonderfull with all kinds of homecooked things, and al kinds of fresh produce. And the jams... OMG so many types of beautifull homemade jams! You will want to try them all.
The bed is big, firm and crisp clean, the shower is so good, perfect pressure and temperature... we felt so refreshed and happy after our visit here, would recommend this very much, it truly felt like a treat!

Me and my wife stayed here for three nights whilst visiting the beautiful town of Safranbolu.

The hotel was incredibly beautiful and well decorated with authentic Ottoman style bedrooms which were clean, quiet with a very comfortable bed. The outside garden is perfect for drinking coffee overlooking the beautiful houses of the town. 

The owners, Mustafa and Nuray were so welcoming and always on hand to answer any questions that we had. Nothing was too much trouble.

The breakfast served was plenty, with so much variety and the owners home made jams which were delicious. Also her home made cakes were delicious.

The hotel is also well located with just a short walk into the old tunnel centre. 

We stayed one extra day because we we enjoyed it so much. We definitely would stay there again and it made our trip to Safranbolu more delightful. 



Simply wonderful! 

My wife and I stayed at this beautiful restored hotel for one night and our only complaint was that we did not stay longer.  The hotel was absolutely perfect.  From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt like we were part of the family at the hotel.  The owner and his father went out of their way to provide us with information on the hotel and the surrounding area which we loved.  The hotel was extremely clean and you can really tell the effort that went into the beautiful terrace area as well as the interior decorations.  You could really feel the love that went into this charming hotel.  The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable.  Breakfast in the morning was delicious and the homemade donuts were to die for.  I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through Safronbolu and we look forward to visiting this hotel again in the future.
