It's the worst hotel I have ever stayed throughout my traveling journey after India trip. They only provide room service for 2 days stay. The curtain was torn and you can see the paints start to peel off. More over, the mattress is so thin, I need to use 2 blanket and place it on top of the mattress to make it thicker. Breakfast is very simple and the reception was not friendly.

Hotel without room service

Located in the heart of selcuk city, less than 5min walked to the selcuk station, surrounded by a lot of restaurants, walking distance to Basilica of St John, Isabey Mosque at the very best price, this hotel is perfect. Water heater is work, heater also work. Turkish Breakfast is provided. This hostel run by a family who are very friendly and accomodative. He even waiting for me  before early leaving at 4am. 

Value for money

The location is one step ahead to masjid, restaurant, train station and otogar (bus terminal). Superb!! The room has the actual look with photos. Excellent service, Hot water and heater runs well, breakfast ok.

I wish there's a way to segregate rating the hosts vs. rating the premises.
The family who runs the hotel was lovely. Attentive and all smiles to my questions.
That said, I can only recommend the hotel for a short stay - 1 night or 2 at most. 
Great location. Close to the otogar and train station. Lots of restaurants and a grocery shop right across the hotel.
Room was spacious - the mattress, duvet and pillows were comfortable. 
Breakfast was plenty, though not varied. Typical Turkish breakfast. 

I stayed here for 3 nights. I guess the property is okay for a night or two nights but any longer than that, you start to notice the downside. 
Hot water only runs for 10 or so minutes. I guess this is a common problem for hotels in Turkey in general. 
Better housekeeping is needed. There are some areas in the room that haven't been cleaned in a long time (e.g. dusts on the cabinet, under the desk.

Cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Great location situated close to the bus station, weekend market & the centre of town. The room was surprisingly large at this point and the air conditioning came as an unexpected bonus. The family-run Wallabies Hotel is super welcoming, with all members of the family willing to strike up a conversation on local tips or history at any moment!

Great budget option for a Selcuk base

Handily located in the town, right next to a picturesque ancient monument, the aqueduct (hence the misspelled half of the name). The wallabies part was chosen to be international, the owner is Turkish and has no connection with Australia. In terms of value for money this place is great. There are plenty of lively restaurants nearby. The city and mountain view from the room was pretty good (see photo).
