After our recent stay at this beautiful hotel that is perfectly positioned on the beach  yalikavak .
Rooms were spacious modern and clean and fully equipped.Staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough  to make our stay the best .
Without doubt Sofi’s restaurant has to be mentioned 
Amazing food worthy of any Michelin star restaurant  around the world .staff were attentive never in your face but right there when needed ,
A massive thank you to you all for making our holiday 
Ther very best cannot wait to go back .

Taskule hotel Sofi’s restaurant

Lovely, small boutique hotel with friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed and perfect for relaxation which is what we wanted as my husband is recovering from illness and is not very mobile. Everything we need is within walking distance. Sofi’s restaurant which is connected to the hotel is the perfect setting for daytime sunbathing on the jetty or a romantic evening meal!

First time at Yalikavak

We go to this restaurant all the time when we are in Yalikavak, so from witnessing previous weddings that have been at Sofi’s restaurant/ Taskule we loved the idea of our wedding here.
Alex arranged everything and all the staff were amazing. The whole wedding day through to the next day was just overwhelming and our room was lovely with drinks in the fridge and a lovely breakfast. Nothing was too much to ask and we will definitely be returning back here.

Sofi’s restaurant/ Taskule hotel Wedding

Spent a week here start of July, was supposed to be last week of June, but complications arose and had to reschedule, Alex at the Taskule sorted this problem in his stride and the Hotel happily accommodated our change in plans. It was a great choice for everything..the location..the food..the people... nothing was too much and was priced equivalent to B&B prices back home, so a bargain all round...couldn't recommend enough, superb!!  

Sunshine Paradise

The staff was not helpful and too strict. Breakfast was terrible. Stay in another pension instead of this hotel if you do not want to waste your money for no reason. The best part was the room size (it was not small)

Average/ No need to spend an extra penny

Herewith would like to say congratulations to Ms. Banu Soyturk-on behalf of all hotel staff for- who was very creative and talentfull manager of the hotel Taskule.
And stricly recommend to visit the hotel specially for doubles who were trying to live quite and very peacefull days in well furnitured rooms placed in the minimalist design garden like householder and surely the Taskule hotel will be our first choice and destination for next unless they could be accepted us with our childs! :))

Our first time to Turkey and the Taskule hotel in Yalikavak is a great hotel in a perfect sea front location, local to everywhere, and the amenities are really good, we will certainly be going back there.

A great Taskule hotel and a lovely location

We have just returned from two weeks at this hotel. We stayed in room 202 which does have a partial view of the sea and was more than comfortable. There were a couple of things that were annoying, like the towel rail broken in the bathroom, shower leaked and the bathroom lights were not working when we arrived, but these were minor. The lights were fixed the day that I mentioned it to the staff.

The location of the hotel is great. Sofi's restaurant below is great for daytime sunbathing with their jetty and the food was lovely. The hotel is just a short stroll to the centre of town where there are shops and restaurants. Because it is set behind the restaurant, we found the rooms quiet and peaceful.

Breakfast was good, although it isn't usually ready until about 9am. It mainly consists of a traditional Turkish breakfast of bread, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, etc, but also had cereal and omelettes available. The two main members of staff that we spoke to were Songul and Murat. They were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Their English is quite limited, but Songul went out of her way to help us whenever we enquired of anything.

Overall, the hotel scored highly on staff helpfulness, cleanliness and location. My only gripe would be that a few minor repairs need to be completed, but as I said, this is only a minor point. Great value and we had a wonderful time at the hotel.

Good value and friendly staff!

Despite the title of this review Taskule is still the best value in Yalikavak.
This was our 4th holiday in the resort and our 2nd stay in the hotel.. The business of Sophie's Bar and Taskule Hotel whilst operating from the same premises seem to be run as separate concerns. The bar staff did not seem to be concerned about hotel matters and the hotel staff did not seem to be concerned with bar and restaurant matters. But never mind. It is a wonderful location. The rooms are superb and the price is more than acceptable. 
Unfortunately the sun does not reach the hotel pool in the early morning or late afternoon (at least not in May)
Our concerns in the title of this review particularly concern the breakfast. There was always something missing or forgotten and not a day went past without having to ask for something - be it fruit juice, butter, bread, coffee, condiments or once the actual breakfast plate. Not sure whether it was just one inefficient/incompetent member of staff of whether it ran through the entire team. At least the Manager seemed to be on hand at least most of the time.
We WILL return.

A disappointing slipping of standards

We have visited yali and Sofis for years but only stayed at taskule this time. Great budget pleasant room. Breakfast is lovely and every member of staff in hotel and bar are brilliant.. every one working from sultan domestic to the as  always Alex and crew including this time the very warm funny Adam.. well done everyone! Xxx
