The rooms are very clean and specious. Most importantly the staff is so friendly. BIYEM also helped my family organize a wedding and we used their venue and it was stress free. I loved how they were so organized and on time. Not to mention their food is delicious!

BIYEM deserves a review! 

I stayed in Biyem Hotel this May and I loved every minute of it. The atmosphere is amazing, rooms are super clean and spacious. I loved waking up and sitting in the garden to have breakfast with delicious seasonal freshly pressed juices. 

the location is just perfect because it's quite near to the airport and to the city actually. It's the perfect spot and I highly recommend and will definitely return. I mostly definitely felt like HOME!

I stayed at Biyem Hotel for 10 days and found it to be a comfortable and relaxing place. It was quite and cozy, the large garden was cozy for just laying back and do some reading. The rooms were clean and reasonably priced, helpful and receptive staff. Really enjoyed the variaty of food from Eritrean-, Ugandan- and European cousines. All and all a place I would definetly recommend and return to.

Comfortable and relaxing

Till my first landing in Kampala in 2017 i was selecting by myself BIYEM Hotel using world wide web channels. No one at that time gave me information about, a part the one i found on the net.
What i have found, i find and i will find is always the same:
- The pleasant and brotherly manner to relate with the guest, this by the Personnell all, specially from Kristine the Manager, which taste is really appreciate.
- The rooms are ok, well refurbished like international style, with all the necessity, facility and tools needed by a traveller.
- Last but not list the food as on the list on thei menu: OTTIMO (excellente) as we said in italian..
Sometimes in my memory arrives back the taste of their cooked tilapia, the enjoyable sound and light in the garden where You can have lunch and dinner, the appreciated relation with Women and Menof Biyem.
And it will be there i will land next january 2021 .. very soon and good for me !!!!

the greater frindshipness in Kampala

The hotel is beautiful with a wonderful garden. The rooms are clean and very nicely decorated. Very tasty food, especially the breakfast was varied, fresh and appetizing. The staff were very kind, friendly and very helpful with all questions. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime. Very highly recommended!

Excellent hospitality

I walked over to this property to ask for one night's  stay.  I was told by a man in the outdoor dining area to walk over to registration. When I got there, it was not staffed.  When a young woman walked over to the area, she told that there were no rooms.  Had that really been the case the man who walked me over would have known this.

Be forewarned, if you have a disability, you will not be welcome at Biyem.

Harts Motel is not far away and they are extremely accommodating and respectful.

If you have a disability they will turn you away

I joined the gym here about a month ago...it is very friendly and welcoming. The fitness instructors are good at what they do. There is tea available for most of the time and gnuts on request. It is affordable at 15k per day. You can take as long as you need to.
If you around Mengo, Lungujja, Lusaaze it is the best there is around here.

I am on my fitness goal journey and I am loving it.

The Gym is awesome

I stayed here one night while on a two week trip in Uganda.  The hotel is quiet for being in a city, very nice staff and clean room.  It took awhile to place food orders and then for it to arrive.  Reasonable rates.

Kampala Hotel

A good hotel in Kampala booked via email. Cristina, an Eritrean girl who speaks a good Italian, replied. The staff is very kind. In the room we found a 1/2 litre bottle of water per person. Breakfast is varied, both salty and sweet; samosa (meat and vegetables) and crackers, then fruit, toast bread, etc.

A decent level Kampala structure with a nice garden and various types of rooms. There is no elevator. The staff is very kind. Water in a bottle is left in the bathroom. Breakfast varies both salty and sweet; samosa is excellent. Free Wi-Fi is available. The rooms near the restaurant are a bit noisy if there are guests in the bar in the evening and early morning in the hotel you can hear the prayers from the nearby minarets. The hotel surroundings are not particularly attractive but we are not used outside the hotel.
