This is a modern hotel in the heart of Bukovel. Nicely presented. Staff are most helpful. Rooms are large, modern and well-appointed. They have a restaurant on-site. Prices are great. Fully recommended! 

Nice clean place. Friendly. Plenty of parking

Stayed 5 nights, 3 grown ups in the same room. 
Firstly, the hotel complex is quite close to the Lift#1. It takes only 5 min by car to get to FOC parking near Lift #1. Ski rentals and some small shops are very near, reachable by walk.
Secondly, the room was big enough for 3 persons.  We did not feel the lack of space, not in the room, nor in the wardrobe. It is quite warm in the winter, we had to fully close down the radiator and even open the window from time to time.
Thirdly, cleaning is done everyday. The hotel and the restaurant are freshly new and clean.
In addition,  each guest gets 2 towels+bathrobe. Breakfast was fantastic, with enough dishes options to choose.
The personnel is very attentive and friendly. You feel, that somebody is really working with personnel to reach such a result.
Minuses.  The prepayment is done as bank transfer to the account of private person, that could be dangerous. Balance payment for the room they accept in cash only. Be ready for that. 
Restaurant is in a separate building,  so if you stay with the kids in winter, you would have to put on warm clothing every time.

In more then 7 years experience in Bukovel, I admit Gasthaus one of the best hotels in the region in terms of price-quality relation.



Wonderful quality and service

Short advice, warm dishes... Cold dishes for warm food make you bad feeling. But in general good service, clean, tasty food. I would recommend this place to everyone who wants a place to eat Ukrainian national food with clasic resturant service.

one of the best food and services in town👌we finally found a waiter who speaks English(Alexei👍) and understood all our needs ,so we enjoyed some real Chef'made dishes.
the menu is variated,tasty and well done.
the location is very accessible

We went for a teambuilding weekend here.
The rooms are large, so is the bathroom. you have a lot of space to put the clothes if you plan a week there.
The minus I would say just no teapot in the room, 
You have good wifi, excellent mattress,overall slept like a baby. oh and they had a balcony for people who smoked.. you have to ask..
YOU NEED RUSSIAN, the girls at the reception were nice but just one spoke english so if you do not have Moldavian friends like us you are in big trouble
 
What we did love was the food..and all the waiters spoke english... 
I have to say one of the best beef steaks I ever had and reasonable prices. 
We left about 300 eur for a 10 persons dinner with foie gras, steak, dessert and 3 bottles of wine.
Oh they have a karaoke machine too at the restaurant... so no asians but we listened to Ukrainian or Russian songs for a while. 

The scenery is very nice and the snow was from fairytales.. But as long as you understand that the roads are really bad like 40 km per hour from Halmeu, our travel agency got something really wrong there so we tried 3 checkpoint to cross in Ukraine from Romania  up untill Halmeu.

Also we booked on booking a very nice ATV ride, but again you need russian to get along.

I would always come back as everything was at the same level or even better with Poiana Brasov, if they get an airport.

Excellent accomodation and food

I'm sat, as the only table in the Gasthaus Restaurant. Never again. Very slow service, took the 4 staff 15 mins to bring first drinks. All staff gathered around the bar like a magnet. We ordered 2 Sashlik and grilled Veggies, we cancelled the Veggies after having the mains in front of us for 10 mins. I repeat only table at the time. As an apology they brought a Strudel as we were celebrating a birthday. Doesn't make up for it I'm afraid. Food was somewhat tasty, I'm just not sure its worth the excersize in patience to get it.
