This was my 3rd visit to this lovely, pure Ukrainian mountain retreat. Everything there is classy, the staff are highly motivated and super friendly and the mountain ambience is serene.

The breakfast is sumptuous, dinner menu special, outdoor pool overlooks mountains, great hot-wet sauna, indoor pool.

Must Stay in Bukovel!

Nice hotel, good location, beautiful nature, perfect view from the balcony, tasty breakfast, polite staff, everything clean and tidy, big room, warm swimming pool. Thanks for being so pets friendly and allowing us to stay with our frenchie.

Short rest in the mountains

This hotel had so much promise from the reviews online but honestly feel extremely short from my lists of recommendations.  I really wanted to enjoy my stay but every time I would be ‘enjoying’ myself something stupid would happen here.   

Let’s break down why I don’t recommend coming here. (This does not relate to the restaurant)   

1. Parking - Finding parking here is so bad that if you do not park by 2 pm you will not find any parking and will be forced to park on the street.  

2. Dirty Towels. - Over the course of our 5-day stay, I had to complain about our towels being dirty, ripped, and not clean 4 times. I understand a once in a while thing but seriously, FOUR times.  

3. Wifi Not Reliable - I came here with a note on my account that I would be here on business and would need WIFI. The WiFi completely stopped working several times. One time, after I complained, I was told that the entire town was out of WiFi?  I walked down the street to find out that our neighbor hotel had WiFi.. (Someone lied) with brings up my next part.  

4. Staff - I understand that during covid times most places are understaffed. I came here with the expectation that things would be running slow.

What I didn’t come here to expect is how rude the staff is. After asking the receptionist something she responded with “what do you want me to do about it.” If you are unwilling to do your job then don’t work in a place where you have to serve people. 

I had asked them to talk to the other guests who were blasting music in the pool area and were using 3 chairs as tables. She wouldn’t even ask a manager to check on it. 

  5. Room - I had ordered a room that cost about $700 US, and while you do get a nice-sized room, they skimp out on everything.   There was no salt or pepper in the holders, they give you a one-inch bar of soap for 5 people, not enough towels…etc I could go on.  

6. Accommodations - The spa (which consists of an indoor salt pool, outdoor chlorine pool, a sauna, and steam room are great but half of these don’t open until 4 pm. There were three times where, after 5 pm, we had to go to the front desk to complain that the steam rooms weren’t working.   That doesn’t make much sense to me. You know it needs to be on.   There are also not enough chairs for all the guests. Oh and let’s talk about chairs.  Your chairs are with the cars…As in you are laying within feet of cars moving in and out of the lot. This is not only disgusting but also dangerous. 

  7. Safety - This hotel has so many safety concerns.   Our balcony hasn’t secured properly and so it moves a ton. The wood under your feet is too wide apart which causes the chair to fall through. The wood also was splintering which then gets stuck in your foot.

They removed the light bulks outside so you can’t even see where you walking. 

The handrail had a massive nail sticking out which, if you hole the railing correctly, will puncture your hand.  The pool, inside, is separating on some steps. This separation created a hole in which your foot gets stuck. (and it hurts)

Don't Stay Unless You Have No Other Option

The food is simply delicious (the menu is very diverse) and the staff is very kind, friendly and helpful! Location-wise, the slopes are quite close. I would definitely recommend Podgore Hotel as it is the perfect choice for a peaceful and plesant vacantion. The Spa has everything you need in order to relax and the hotel is very clean. 😍

Must visit! 

I rarely write reviews about chain hotels. But the Hotel podgorye deserves one. First of all, the hotel is very good organized (especially considering Corona). The rooms are spacious and very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was OUTSTANDING and leaves no wishes open.

The Booked room matches to reality, always tidy n clean! 
Although sometimes our children were noisy Staff was polite. Admins are ready to solve our requests. 
All meals are available. My youngest one wants to stay more.

worthwhile family rest!!

The staff is extremely friendly,helpful and courteous. The room is clean and spacious. The territory is large and clean. So we spend good time skiing here. Will be back. Highly recommend this hotel...

I would give a 5 star 🌟 . Great service,  polite staff. Absolutely gorgeous food in the restaurant. Rooms are nice and clean. Would definitely recommend for couples and families. Affordable hotel at great price. 



Amazing service 

Recently stayed there for 6 nights, the menu had a good range, the food was tasty and well presented. Mainly Carpathian/Ukrainian. A pizza oven delivers good quality pizza. Service was attentive . Not a great deal of atmosphere but the hotel was quiet during our stay. I thought the food was good value for the money but expensive in Ukrainian terms.

The pool and gym were good, but the saunas (18:00-22:00) overly expensive at ~£7.50.

Room was large. Bed comfortable. Clean.

It takes 5-10mins to walk or ~£3 in a taxi. I took the taxi option when I had my board with me.

Enjoyed my stay.

The receptionist and other staff were friendly and helpful.

A Pleasent Stay

Staff is really nice, friendly looking clean and tidy( which is really important). Rooms are big and comfy. Even though breakfast wasn’t included to hotel price- in restaurant we ate really good and prices aren’t that high.About minuses- 1)few evenings  in a row wasn’t hot water in shower. 2)One of the days contractors came to change door handles in our suite.Other than this we spent really good time. I will recommend this hotel to friends of mine.
