Really modern looking style ion the inside of the coffee place. The staff speaks good English music playlist is worth a check, the place opens at 8 which is perfect as most places open at 9 and best part it is in the old city center. Prices are decent as with most places in Ukraine :))). 

Perfect place for the morning cofee

This is a nice place. Such nice personnel! We were very well received and they were extremely helpful and talkative. It was very easy to store our luggage, great little courtyard in the center of the city.

We simply loved that place! We rented the green double room with a private balcony. The room was very clean, modern and cosy, imagine lamps under the bed for perfect evening lightning. In the morning we bought coffee and freshly baked croissants from the cafe and enjoyed breakfast on the balcony, while watching the slow pace of life in the yard. The facilities are all excellent and most of the very friendly and helpful staff speak good English. The Yard is advertised as a place of Scandinavian design and tranquility. As Swedes we can nothing but congratulate you to total success. We long to come back!

One of our best hostel stays ever

The hostel is the worst of all my trip in Europe.the rooms are improvised -there are some hallways transformed in rooms with no windows.through one of the dorm are passing some stairs which are heading to another dorm.all the people from that big dorm passed the small dorm to reach the big dorm.can you imagine this?
it was a nightmare.day and night.on the other hand there is only one toilet for 20 persons.queues all the time,even during the night and to make things worse they have a coffee bar in the reception and you can hear noises until middle of the night.

Avoid it at any cost

Very pleasant atmospher and member of staff. She will make you feel very welcom and is quite attentive. The cafe is clean and seemed well attended. Parking is easy and access is good.
Unfortunatly the food is a let down. The sandwiches need a lot more filling and the cakes, although very attractive, were dry.
Sorry its a shame but we will not be going back.

Coffee Break

We've had an experience of staying in a lovely, cozy, clean, well equipped hostel in the very heart of Chernivtsi city - its central pedestrianized street, just 1 minute's walk to Ratusha and the Central square. Kitchen is equipped with all the necessary kitchen equipment for cooking and having any kind of meals, incl. crockery and cutlery; hot water - permanently. Young and responsive personnel. The best option is a separate 2-bed room with ceiling-to-floor windows looking into the yard of a typical Austrian building of the 19-th century. Very warm, even with -10-15 Celcium outdors. A nice coffee shop with a bar. Very warm and comfortable atmosphere.

The best put up for the night in Chernivtsi over the recent few years!

I HAD MY IPHONE/IPAD STOLEN! There was a smelly homeless old woman sleeping in the 18 person dormitory with me! It was very cold in the room. The camera is useless for purposess of security. People form the coffee shop can walk in to the hostel part of the place unhindered. Instead of making amends for my stolen property i was asked to leave because i called the police about my theft! ( Customer service -10). Very Intolerant of my religious needs! I found 2 better cheaper hostels (30% cheaper) in Chernivtsi that were more secure. I dont understand how this place has such high marks

Yard hostel, chernivitsi .

I stayed here for 1 night after it being recommended by a student.
I chose a private room with a balcony as I am a smoker. The. Room was clean, warm and comfortable and cost 220. The hostel itself was very well kept and professionally managed. There were mainly Ukrainians staying here and the atmosphere was good. I would not hesitate to stay again. The staff were kind and organised a taxi and alarm call for my bus to suceava.

They also serve some damm good coffee !!!

It is very well located for trolley buses and restaurants/ bars etc
