Hostel MIF 

In the middle of winter, and coming in out of the cold, I was so surprised to find the inside so inviting and warm! Coming from a very cold hostel in the same city, this was a welcome treat. Too bad I only could stay one night. The kitchen and common room is one of the same and there were plenty of utensils, things to cook with and a stove on which to prepare food. Bathroom tiles were colorful and a delight on the eyes. The toilet room, shower room and area with two sinks were all separate, making it a pleasure should there be many guests needing the various necessities at the same time (maybe this would be more of an issue in peak season). An eight-minute walk from the main train station, this hostel is in a winning location for early train departures or really late arrivals. Lots of old, gigantic mansions grace this neighborhood for anyone interested in architecture. The main (round) local veg/meat market is less than a 10-min walk away, and a few minutes passed the market is the main pedestrian street in the center of the city. The absolute nicest older man was working at the hostel and, upon arrival, instantly made me feel at home and comfortable, even though we didn't speak a common language. I recommend this hostel to other travelers.
