Good points:
7 minutes from airport - 10 minute drive.  Recommend as a transit hotel.
Check out time is 12 noon (not 11am). Daytime staff very friendly.
Staff understood my Russian. Right on main road but windows apparently have soundproofing.
Very quiet -- one could get a good night's sleep at his hotel. (no discotheque) Few guests.
Decent bathroom facility much better than the room itself.
In walking distance to restaurants (1-2km).
A cute three star hotel. Reasonable prices (700grn per night). Plus one free small still water and one free small sparkling water. Refrigerator cooled off drinks quickly and effectively. No smell of cigarettes in non-smoking room.
Bad points:
Hotel restaurant refused to take orders at 815PM on a Friday night. Waiter said "Chef has left for home." Upon querying around 715PM, hotel front-desk night time girl, when I asked her until when will the restaurant be open for ordering meal, she said up to 9PM. She turned out to be misinformed. Later she just said "Prosti!" I walked to a hotel restaurant called Misteria abut two kilometers away. I found it through google.maps as I was aware of another hotel by the same name having a restaurant. By the way, food was good there but need to walk about 2 km: cross street to opp side of prospect Lva Landau and walk in direction of airport until you see the restaurant Zori Meat Gastropub; turn left (you will be on Sadovaya street) until you get to the next perpendicular street, prospect Petra Grigorenko, cross over to other side, turn left enter restaurant under sign Bar/Pizza. (However, I would have preferred eating in the Artua hotel restaurant!)
Initially, internet did not work. Night time administrator said that "it had to work." The I tried on laptop and Microsoft suggested restarting router. Once restarted, the internet worked fine.
I reserved a junior suite (pol-luks) room with a double bed -- I got an ordinary room with two single beds.  Furniture in room was from a bygone era with the smallest flat screen TV I have ever seen. In Russian there is a list for fines applicable to damaged furniture -- very funny as furniture is already knackered. I stayed in room#10.
No elevator so had to lug luggage up stairs (but was expecting that). Insufficient toilet paper (but was expecting that and brought an extra roll).
Hotel arranged taxi for me at 1215PM. However, when I asked the price, th e night-time administrator said "no more than 100grn." Day time younger girl said: "106 grn." I asked driver and he said 150grn!

Decent Transit Hotel with Minimal Amenities

On the last night, in Charkiv I stayed at the Hotel Artua. The price performance ratio is good. Very clean bedroom and clean modern bathroom. Tv in the room available. Friendly and English speaking staff.
