The hostel is the worst place to sleep where I have been accommodated. Rooms were small and unpleasant. Beds were uncomfortable. The light on the toilet didn't work. The showers were dirty and unfunctional. The kitchen was so awful, that it wasn't usable. I only spent a night and ran away.

Only a place to sleep

To start with the good things: the location is great (but that goes for many places in Kiev) and the prices are very low. Also the lady working there is kind of nice, even though she doesn’t speak any English at all. 

Everything else was terrible. We had a booking.com reservation they ignored. So instead of having a private double we had to stay in the same room as the lady working there and her daughter. We didn’t get any covers for the bed, only one towel for the two of us. The rooms were tiny, hardly could fit our suitcases in there. The doors couldn’t be locked. 
The water in the girl’s bathroom wasn’t working and it was therefore pretty much unusable. The shower was extremely moldy and just disgusting to the point where you didn’t want anything to touch any surfaces. 
On top of all that there was a really bad small in the room, like old sweat. 
We left the very next morning, even though we had originally planned to stay two nights.
