Hotel Sacvoyage

Stayed there for 4 days. Very nice and clean people. Members of staff are very friendly and helpful. Manager is bit moody always, but nice guy :) recommend to all, will not regret. This will be my new place to stay at every time i visit lviv

Overnight stay here in Lviv. Hotel is small but modern, and spotlessly clean. Looks like it has had a recent refit/upgrade. Located about a 15-20 minute walk from the beautiful city centre, but also on a tram route. 

We took the car (Lviv's cobbled streets were hard on the suspension!) and it was easy to find the location. There is free parking for maybe six cars right outside the reception, but there is also plenty of free parking in the adjacent streets if required. 

The check in was easy, and the young man on reception spoke very good English. There is a modern digital access method for the main entrance and the room, which is very secure, so you are able to come and go as you please with no key or card to worry about losing. 

The room was great, and superb value for money. Comfortable beds, good heating/aircon and powerful hot shower. Breakfast was served next morning at the arranged time in a small but clean communal dining area next to reception. The food was really excellent, and the staff really friendly and helpful. There was ample, decent real coffee available at all times. 

This trip was unusual, as it was made during the war with Russia. Therefore the hotel was very quiet (I think there was only one other guest the night we stayed), and there was a curfew in Lviv, with all bars and restaurants shutting down at 8pm. 

Nevertheless, Hotel Sacvoyage made us feel so welcome. As we packed up next morning, said our goodbyes, and drove west out of the city, we could hear the wailing of the air raid sirens. I hope and pray that this beautiful city remains unscathed, and spared from the devastation seen in other parts of this wonderful country. I will return again in the future, and would not hesitate to once again stay at the Sacvoyage.

Very nice place

Fabulous. Small, modern hotel near to Lviv centre. Great staff and service.

The hotel is actually a ground floor of a house of flats with just a couple of tiny rooms and almost no hotel services, rather out of the city center. Rooms are so small, that you are just unable to open a mid size suitcase there and a taller person cannot make a good sleep on the bed. The bathroom is so small that one must be really handy to dry yourself without breaking an arm. We took a couple of river cruises before and we can frankly confirm that ship cabins are bigger. What is more, you can hear the noise from the corridor in your room, especially the beeping of the entrance door, which is disturbing, particularly in the evening.
What is positive is free coffee and tea throughout your stay. On the other hand, the choice of meals for breakfast is limited (though the food is good). But don't expect even such obvious things as fruit or juice.
When having a common talk over a breakfast after 8 o'clock we were asked by receptionist to be quieter so as not to wake other guests, because there is no door in the breakfast room so noise is going straight to the corridor. And the rooms, of course. Than we made a coffee and the coffee machine made at least twice as much of noise as we did.
To conclude the review we must say that this is yet another amateur-run hotel which only looks nice on the pictures. But do not be misled - it does not fulfill basic expectations one might have when settling in an € 50+ hotel. By the way, two weeks before our stay here, we spent some time in a hotel close to the center of Prague which was much better and much cheaper. Just this experience led us to the title of this review.
