We overnighted at Dubai and wanted a clean, cheap hotel near the airport.
This is what I got a very good, clean hotel near the Dubai Creek which included breakfast. If you want luxury this is not the place to stay. The rooms  were very spacious to hold our big suitcases.

Good basic hotel near the Dubai Creek

I was drawn to this hotel because of their prices.  I stayed there for two days and as a business traveler, I would not recommend this hotel at all.  They have the slowest WIFI internet you could ever imagine.  If you think 3g is bad, try their WIFI.  
I also noticed that the front desk staff would tell you one thing just to keep you calm but their nothing happens.  My outlet plugs went out...might have tripped.  I called the front desk and they day "we will send someone over to check".  I woke up the next day wondering if my call to the front desk actually happened or that was a dream.  No one showed up.  The heat in my room was not working as well.
My advice to business travelers....stay AWAY.

Business traveler

+ We booked for 5 days and 4 night for twin bedroom, however the room was not available, queen bed was offered instead. We do need two bed, luckily they upgraded our room to master bed room with living room and they add one more bed :) Room 516. 
+ Amazing complete amenities in the bathroom and so clean.
+ This hotel has great location, walk in distance to Union Metro Station just  4 minutes. Also to Al Ghurair Shopping Mall with a lot of restaurant around just in 4 minutes.

- You could hear the busy traffic even from the 5th floor 
- Wifi only good for whatsapp and basic needed in mobile phone, need to "refresh" many times if you open a website to do some stuff like businesses purposes or etc. (they have a computer near reception free of charge if you need)
- Slow response via email up to literally more than 4 hours to get a respond by reservation team.
- Swimming pool at the rooftop closed due maintenance without information in advance.

# So :) its actually pretty good deal for good room, please always check the swimming if you needed and be ready with weak wifi connection.

Good Price and Location

Right now we're relaxing here, the staff is very friendly and polite, the bathroom is almost new, everything is clean... breakfast is quite good) metro nearby, al-Gureira trading center etc. I can't say anything bad)

A good option for your money.

We stayed there 2 nights. The staff is unprofesional and unorganized. The rooms are spacious but old stylish. We stayed first in the first floor but the room was so dark because the window was tinted and low. The room was stinky as well. We asked to change the room and we have been moved to the second floor. Which was better because brighter and smelt better but the window was so thin that we had the feeling to sleep with the window open and could hear the heavy traffic all night long. The bathroom is nice ( actually the only nice part of the room) but impossible to get the right temperature (too cold and then to hot and so on). And finally we ask the reception to book a taxi for us to get to the airport early next morning and in the morning no taxi was there... I highly recommend not to choose this hotel!
