Stayed at this property which is now called westend properties on arrival entrance was down a alleyway property was locked and took us an hour to contact owner,room was not ready and was told to come back in 30 mins. No reception payed for our 2 nights in 1 of the kitchens!! Room was tidy but shower head was broken, tv but no remote to switch it on!! The property is surrounded by restaurants and very noisy till early hours .we are a couple in our 60s and had 63 stairs to climb to get to our room. Also parking is not gaurented through day we booked in for 2 nights but left after 1

Not for us

This isn't a guest house but student accommodation with several en suite rooms  and a communal kitchen/dinning/lounge area.

When you arrive there will be nobody there even if you have booked in your arrival time  via the booking site, after a 20 minute wait a guy shows up who seems completely stressed and is very abrupt, no customer service,pleasantries or feel good factor here! He doesn't stay on site so if there is a problem or query you are on your own.

There is a standard kitchen much like any house so if it's busy you may be waiting a while. I decided to eat out.

As for breakfast, well there was plenty of food but I didn't know who it belonged too and as there was no-one to ask I just stopped into a supermarket and grabbed a sandwich.

I was there on business and wanted an early night but was kept awake by a couple talking loudly.

The only B&B I've ever visited without tea making facilities in the room or a TV.

It is just off the main road in Aberdeen so handy if you are going out and to be honest the only people I can imagine making a return visit to this property are guys/gals out on the lash who don't want far to stagger, for everyone else it's best avoided.

Not what I expected

place was shocking, so unhygienic & the man was very smelly, was upto no good all hours of the night just sitting laughing playing his games on his phone this guy was something else, vanished throughout the booking too

Would not recommend to anyone, we got to the apartment called the numbers on the door, after calling 45 times, boy said he can’t come as his car is broken down and we will get a refund. A group of 8 left with no where to stay, avoid with all caution!!! Very rude man on the phone, did not care at all!!

AVOID VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

Turned up for nobody to let up in flys everywhere place stinking! Man very rude on phone promised to be 10 mins half hour later still no they’re complained to booking.com only to find out he had told them he wasn’t allowing us to stay as they’re was 5 of us!! He hadn’t even met us in person!!! Guest house my backside! Won’t let a dog sleep here

Well...... met by a excuse of a man claiming to be the landlord/owner.
Immediately asked for money up front without seeing the room.
As I and my colleague from work had travelling all day to get there first impressions were good.
New clean tidy and modern apartments/flats.
Shared kitchen area for 4 flats with one 2 seater sofa as shown on the website. 
We were given the code for a lock into "someone else's "carpark but only to be used from 7pm to 7am.
The online booking was made with the requirements of 2 single beds as we were 2 straight men , we arrived to find a double bed resulting in one of us sleeping on a camping bed .
In house cleaner/receptionist who doesn't speak any English has kitchen cupboards filled with her food leaving no room for our provisions.
A drip for a shower but clean.
Invited other work colleagues to stay and again met with the hand out for money.
Fire doors all proped open .
Front security door is open 24hrs per day allowing "anyone" to walk right into the kitchen area etc.
Heating failed on Friday night leaving no radiators to dry damp clothes , response from the landlord/owner trying to get a plumber !
Saturday evening returned from work and still no heat....knowing a bit about the heating had stated the problem and to my conclusions the landlord/owner then rang the REAL landlord/owner whom I spoke to him and relayed back the problem.
Situated between restaurants and takeaways etc this must be a haven for vemen and again with front doors open 24hrs ! 
Exiting the property the view is spectacular, 10 commercial wheelie bins dipping with grease/fat/food waste and a smell to die for  .
The so called bogus landlord/owner isn't a very Pleasant or understanding man to your requirements which is a pity.
The accommodation is grand but the reception and service you receive is far from what I would call professional, or helpful and is just dam right rude.

Absolute s**thole and level of service doesn't exist.

We arrived and it was down a dark alley and we had to phone the guy to tell him we were there and waited 20 minutes before he arrived. There is no reception. We got to our room which we had booked for two nights. There was little miscommunication at some stage and come the morning he’d called saying I hadn’t paid and I said do you need cash and he said yes and told him I’d go to the bank and return with the money. We left the hotel to go out in town and left our belongings there and in the space of 7 hours he was calling me from a different number to the one he’d previously called on saying I’d left without paying and that he was going to call the police. So we showed up and got told we didn’t have a room for the second night and I was to only pay half and I told him my belongings were left in the room. I got my belongings back and paid him in cash but he told me the room had been given to someone else and he’d tried to take money out my bank but it was unsuccessful. So not only was I being accused of something, he’d tried to take money from me without my knowledge and given the room to someone else and left us looking for another place to stay all in the space of 7 hours. Don’t stay here they have a cheek to charge £30 when it’s like a student accommodation, out duvet cover was too big for the bed and we only had one pillow and our towels had stains on them and there was a dirty/stained towel left in the bathroom when we arrived and it’s a shared kitchen/dining/living area only thing private is the bedrooms. The management of the place is terrible and the owner is abrupt and rude and nobody is around when you need them. If they’re charging £30 it should be of a little more standard.
